On our last night in Italy after a 3 week trip, we stayed in Fiumicino because we had an early morning flight out of Rome. We knew nothing of the area so we asked some local fishermen for a recommendation and they suggested the restaurant attached to the La Torre del Moro hotel. It was off the beaten path-the menu had no English translations and the waiter spoke no English. However, we were taken very well care of and ate and ate and ate whatever he brought out for us and it was divine! Super fresh seafood cooked in a variety of ways. We were in heaven!  Wine, dinner, dessert, dessert wine, and coffee for the 2 of us came to a total of 40 Euros. Including tip! I loved eating among all the locals - didn't hear a word of English there! Highly highly recommend!!

..Nice and clean with beautiful view from the room nr8 with access to the terrace and the Private parking is very utile. The staff very helpful and hard working..Very good price for this location..👍👍

Very good 

Helpful and nice staff. About 5km from Fiumicino Airport but there are taxis and buses. Room was very spacious, bathroom quite clean. Breakfast was included in the room price. Very close to the beach, quiet neighbourhood. Good price.

Nice accomodation

Be warned. While the hotel is reasonably priced and close to the airport, the standard taxi fare is 20 Euros each way, so add 40 Euros to the cost of the hotel as against one that offers transfers from the airport. That said, our room was basic but clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a/c, tv, and all the usual amenities. Continental breakfast was generous. The staff were especially helpful, keeping reception open for us when we arrived late. An inexpensive option for an overnight stay near the airport.

Clean, convenient, and friendly

Booking.com reservation placed due to price and proximity to FCO airport. The street where the small inn/ restaurant are located is very run down in a residential area. The lady working the front desk was pleasant and had to check with a man for approval for 3 of us to stay in room #2 for 70 euros. We waited for one hour for our room and she watched our luggage for us. Very pleasant lady! When we returned there was a little girl at the front desk who ran away. We were let in and noticed the room was stale, dark and very hot. I found the man and he told me how to turn the air on and then we laid down for a nap. The sheets were patterned and not white like you would expect them to be. They were stiff and smelled horribly like mildew and mold. I removed the sheets and asked for new ones. Once I put these on the bed, things were better. The bathroom was corroded and moldy, and upon entering the room we found a dirty towel crumpled on the floor. The toilet seat was new but did not fit the toilet properly. The windows would not all open and looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The lamps on the nightstands did not match and gave us very little light in the room. It was so dark in the room. The only saving grace was that we could walk to Fiumicino and explore some of the cute seafood restaurants and shops. There were pictures in the hotel of when the hotel and restaurant were lively and busy but those days are long gone. Needs a complete overhaul or just to close the place down...So sad!
