Dunross House B&B

Stayed two nights on our Irish road trip. Couldn’t fault the accommodation or the friendliness of the owner. Superb Irish breakfast every morning set us off on our journey! Just outside Killarney in lovely countryside and very convenient for getting to surrounding areas without having to navigate Killarney traffic! A great stay. Thank you

The Dunross House B&B is a beautiful accommodation.  The room was cozy and comfortable.  The sitting room was tastefully decorated and welcoming to sit and unwind after a busy day of touring.  The dining room was cheery and well-laid out.  The breakfast was delicious and gave us a good start for another day on the touring road.  Betty was very personable and we enjoyed our conversation.  Betty was quite helpful in giving us possible directions for a very wonderful touring day!  We would highly recommend staying here when in the area.

We stayed in Dunross House for 2 nights. The house can be a bit hard to spot because every second house along the road is a BnB.

The hosts take a very relaxed approach that suited us to the ground, leaving us to our business and leaving their front door open for us to come and go freely.

The room was lovely and clean with all the essentials and decent WiFi. The bathroom was fairly new with a fantastic shower. 

Breakfast area was classily designed with a nice selection of options as well as offering a cooked fry up with toast and fresh brown bread. 

The location is very convenient, only 3 kilometres or so from the town.
We had a lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Dunross House is in a good location on the main Tralee Road into Killarney. It can be tricky to find as there are many other B&Bs along this road approaching town and if you are arriving when traffic is heavy, take care. We returned after dinner in Killarney and it was even more difficult because the sign wasn’t lit up that night.
Our room was a little small but had a lovely view across the road towards the green hills. Both room and bathroom were beautifully clean.
Betty was a very nice hostess and breakfast in the dining room, a pleasant experience. A beautiful big room looking out onto the courtyard and garden and very well presented breakfast buffet.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a quiet house located close to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. Ideal for anyone who wants to explore the area. The room was spotless clean and spacious. Breakfast was cooked to order and there was continental options as well. We would stay again! 

A well run B&B with clean modern facilities.  Looked as though it had been recently renovated with a nice ensuite bathroom.  Wifi was a bit intermittent in the bedroom.  Great breakfast with a good range of juices, fruits and cereals.

Clean and Classy in a Nice Location

Beautiful and clean room

+ Room was super clean and bathroom looked liked it was renovated recently - good shower!! View from the room was great with mountains and beautiful yard.

- Nobody introduced themselves to us and we felt a bit weird staying there. We met the father (?) and couple children. We assume that the hostess wasn't there during our stay and we think that she usually runs the b&b.
Wifi didn't work at all in the room!
