The location was very nice, you could get to downtown Dublin/Temple Bar district via city bus. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We left very early both mornings we stayed so we did not get to sample the breakfast, but they put together a tray for us in our room. Lovely people. The facilities were clean and comfortable, just what was needed.

Overnight stay, welcomed to property which had everything required for an overnight stay. Owner recommended Twenty 20 restaurant just up the road with a great little pub next door for the Guinness! Early start so everything left for me to have breakfast to be in Dublin city centre approx 17 mins drive early morning!

nice friendly welcome. had to leave before 7.30 so was shown where i could help myself to breakfast. cereal.toast. yoghurt. fruit. juice .tea/coffee. marmalade/spreads. was kindly given plasters for my cut foot by young lady which lasted me all day walking round dublin. also helped me in the door when i was using the wrong key. Very handy for the Beaumont hospital. 20/30 min walk or 10 mins in a taxi.  
I stayed in a small but cosy single room which with a comfortable double bed. shared a spacious bathroom with one other. excellent shower. on the main road so bit of noise but did quieten down at night a bit.  lovely comfy lounge with books to read and tv. short ride on buses to city centre. pretty good location. 5 mins from off license down calderwood road. good budget accomodation for dublin. safe and friendly and comfortable.

Near to Beaumont Hospital Dublin about 3kms away

I chose this B&B because it was at the end of my trip and I wanted to be close to the airport. The room was cramped with old-fashioned bedding. I had a shared bathroom which had no soap to use wash my hands with. I ended up using the shower gel which was provided in the room. The room was cold which for July is surprising. I made full use of the tea and coffee facilities although I had to boil the kettle on the floor as there was no plug socket nearby. The wifi in the room had good connection and there is a tv in the room. There is free parking on the street. 
I found the host to be rather brash and not as welcoming as other B&B hosts. As I needed to leave at 8am the next morning I was told I'd be getting my own breakfast which I understood to mean that I would not be having a cooked breakfast. I was a little disappointed by this and because of the way I'd been told. However, there were cereals, fruit, yoghurt and bread left out for me.
The host wasn't that welcoming and really couldn't be bothered to even say goodbye properly and carried on with what he was doing in the kitchen. He'd basically got the payment and couldn't care less. This was the first time in a B&B that I've felt intrusive. I wouldn't stay here again simply because I think there are better B&B's with friendlier hosts.

Basic but cheap.

The rooms were ok (traditional European in size).  Mattresses should be updated as they are getting very soft.  Breakfasts were great...had to start asking for less as the quantity was more than this American family eats and we didn't want to waste.  Family room toilet continues to be a problem.
