Booked 2 nights here for my 60th birthday with my family,lovely place about 3/4 mile from Westport which is ideal for us as we like to walk before and after our dinners,check in was swift and easy with plenty of parking on the premises,the rooms are well appointed and clean and the bed comfortable,breakfast was great,a good choice,well presented and perfectly cooked.
Dave and Steph couldn't have been any nicer or helpful and even printed off maps for the scenic route back to Dublin,contrary to what a few others have posted I found Dave very engaging and helpful,with great local knowledge of where to eat,drink and visit,we  wouldn't hesitate on staying here again.

60TH Birthday stay

Stayed here a few times now and as every other time no complaints. Very clean reasonably priced excellent breakfast and a really nice and  friendly family run B&B. Location is no more than a 1k outside the town and is a handy walk in. Definitely recommend when visiting Westport.

Excellent as always

The family and I booked Augusta Lodge for our staycation this year and were delighted with what we got. A large family room for more than 2 kids that still had plenty of room. The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating. The guesthouse has fantastically interesting golf memorabilia which adds to the charm. The breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious, well maintained and cleaned every day. I would highly recommend Augusta Lodge to anyone but especially larger families

Staycation Gem

Cozy little guesthouse less than 15 mins walk from restaurants and bars! The staff were so welcoming and friendly! Had an amazing stay here and the breakfast was excellent. Also really enjoyed the putting green out the front

A Fabulous Find

Have spent 3 nights in August at Augusta Lodge Guests House and have to tell was perfect. Room was big and very clean and service was very very good. Staff is very helpful, always taking care for you. They were lovely. Don't miss the oportunity to visit Wesport, it's a lovely town, nice seafood and nice people. Wesport House is wonderful, and if you can go to Croagh Patrick, the holy mountain in Murrisk (9 km from Wesport) will be perfect !!

WONDERFUL

We spent two nights here and could not have been happier.  Very nice and comfortable room.  Excellent breakfast.  Most importantly was the welcome we received and the friendliness  of the owner and staff at breakfast. Our only tiny niggle was slow WiFi (but even that was positive as we just relinquished our phones !).  Westport is wonderful and this is a perfect place to stay while visiting.  

Wonderful Guesthouse 

We are just home from our fantastic holiday in Westport. We have two kids under 10 and the family room was perfect for us, Steph and Dave are fantastic hosts, friendly and very helpful and great with the kids.  Augusta Lodge is the perfect base for anyone that wants to explore Westport and the surrounding areas.

Amazing

Augusta Lodge

We stayed three nights at this inviting and comfortable lodge on the West Coast of Ireland.  It is ideally located on a quiet street outside the town of Westport and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants and grocery stores.  Our room was beautifully decorated, large and spotless. We especially enjoyed the excellent home-cooked breakfasts in the cozy dining room before heading out on our daily jaunts into the countryside.  We appreciated being able to meet with our travel companions in the cozy parlor (Dave’s golf museum) while planning our outings. The scenery in the area is spectacular. This lodge is in an ideal location for accessing the main roads leading out on the Wild Atlantic Way to Croagh Patrick, Achill Island, Kylemore Abbey and significant historic roadside markers from days of the famine.  Private parking on the property is a plus. We would be pleased to return to Augusta Lodge on a future trip to the West Coast of Ireland.

Charming and very Irish

Westport reminds me of White Rock, BC, Canada where I spent my childhood summers. Augusta Lodge reminds me of my Grandparents house. It is so cozy, warm and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. My favourite place from both visits this year. 
Just a 15 minute walk into town for shopping, exploring, pubs and dining. A 30 minute walk to Clew Bay on the ocean and passing the Famous Westport House on the way. And Croagh Patrick is breathtaking.
Dave and Stephanie are the most delightful couple. Extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I felt like family.
Then there's Dave's collection of golf memorabilia. Absolutely amazing! I'm sure that even after spending 10 days there, I didn't see all he has amassed. Always willing to chat golf, Dave is open to explaining his treasures to all. I can't wait to go back.

A golfers/adventurers must!

Would have no hesitation returning.  Staff very friendly and helpful.  Rooms clean and spacious.  Breakfast excellent - good choice.  Knowledge of surrounding area was very useful to us as we were there to cycle.
