Difficult.to locate at first with Google Maps, as we kept getting sent into housing at rear of  the guesthouse.
Niall made us very welcome and the accomodation was clean and  tidy.
Handy location, with a good restaurant over the road for breakfast or meals
Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyable stay

Do not book here without looking elsewhere locally. Rooms are inadequate and out dated. There should be access to both sides of a double bed.
The property sits on top of one of the busiest and noisiest road junctions in Galway, access to the city is a good 20 minutes plus walk.

Booked in here for one night.  Initially I however as the evening progressed a bad smell was in the bathroom and out into the bedroom.  Windows left open but this was no use, smell remained. Had to leave as ended up with a terrible headache due to the smell. Had been offered to.be moved to another room but due to headache we left and drove the 4 hour home.  Had paid when we landed and have asked twice for even partial refund however messages are not being returned. Place could be doing with some updated work.  Wouldn't recommend at all

Seamus tries to be accommodating and is very personable but that's where the goodness stops. The house is in need of LOTS of restoration. Poor water pressure in shower and you stand in water as the drain is super slow. Breakfast listed as Irish but really only continental with eggs--no porridge, white pudding, or sausage and rashers. Taxi called but never came and we had to walk to Shop Street--about a mile. We stayed 3 nights and "service" included one fresh towel and nothing else. No tea in room, no shampoo or lotion (just shower gel), water bottle not replenished...just not what we'd expect for the money/location.

Seamus is great...but!

This was the perfect place to start our family vacation for 17 people. We spent 2 nights at the Bayview B&B and the owner Seamus couldn’t have been more accommodating! We walked in the door after a long night of travel from the states and Seamus had all our rooms waiting for us - basically had the whole house to our selves. Rooms were clean, and comfortable. More importantly, Seamus personality made for an excellent experience.  He arranged for a tour, helped us with where to go eat and drink, and made absolutely delicious breakfasts!

Family Vacation

We stayed here for the night on the way to Portrush.  It was reasonably priced and the location was good.  As it was on the corner of a busy intersection it was quite noisy all night and youneeded the windows open for fresh air

Overnight Stay

We had a terrible stay ! The room was dirty and old ... the room #2 is the worst room I ever had in my life !

- The wall was dirty from a water accident.
- I killed 4 spiders in this room.
- the bathroom was really tiny and dirty
- at breakfast the milk was turned sour
- the heaters are rosted
- everywhere spots of dirt and smudges

Never ever again !!!

Anyway the man who makes the breakfast was really friendly and kind...

Terrible !

Seamus and the staff were very welcoming, flexible, clean rooms, good beds, great sound insulation (so good sleep) and really handy for the Motorway back to Dublin as we had a midday flight to catch in Dublin the next day.
Breakfast was very good, healthy options and not too heavy.

Business trip, looking for early departure back to Dublin Airport

Rooms are small and road noise but if you are busy you will sleep through anything. The breakfast was simple scrambled eggs, fruit and no meat. If they are busy you will wait for coffee. Our room wasnt cleaned and the towels thrown on the bed. the location is good you will have a walk to the city center. I love the fact that the door is lock at 9 pm and you are given a code to get in
