The hotel is close to the airport and easy to reach by care; though not that easy to find. The place is old and worn down. Service leavs much to be desired. When we arrived there was no one at the reception. No problem, there's a number to call; then you find out it is the phone at the reception that is ringing! Breakfast is poor, but it's included so what can you demand? By the way, if you come by car, parking space is limited.

Budget, you get what you pay for

This place choose it's clientele please check a head of time about premises as got a feeling its go something to hide as my booking was take away when I asked a friend to ring and was told they have no longer got a room available bare in mind I booked this room 31/12/17 and only told today  13/01/18 it was no longer available maybe one to steer clear from I have been advised by different sites it is been currently been used for homeless and would be an over spend in my opinion 265e for two nites as its about normally 65 a nite and approx 50 mins on public transport to city centre with very few shops some of the staff are also broken English very hard to understand them and from what I have been told very very dated place for this reason it's definitely one to skip by oh and thank you Gerry for your reply via booking.com.

It was a short ride approx 20 mins from Dublin City centre it is a pretty well serviced route.  You have to cross an overpass over a busy road.  On approach watch for the petrol stations there is a further 2 short stops before you alight bus.

It is very dated and very pink but it was clean.  The ladies were friendly and night guy was lovely.  

The rooms are small, tv fuzzy & bathroom you need to go right inside before you can close the door.  Our shower was leaking and sink was cracked.  But as we were attending a sold out concert for what we paid it was adequate compared to extortionate Dublin.

Breakfast was nice but suspect some of the other guests are long term as not behaviour I would expect.  Guests going into the kitchen helping themselves out the fridge.

There is an Aldi about a 10 min walk from lodge you will also pass an newsagent, off license & pub.  This was closed for a wedding when we were there.

Budget B & B

Not well signposted.  Easy to miss.   Dated and small rooms.  Double bed  old and too small.   Breakfast adequate. Staff friendly and helpful   Car parking can be difficult   Good position for getting to Dublin   Quiet at night

Clientele were not what I had anticipated. Woman wearing mini dress during breakfast time with cheap high heels and a baby on her hip. Zero signage on the road and the only sign on the building that it had was blocked by a car. Use coordinates in your GPS and not address. I got in late and told them I needed a space in my booking and I ended up having to block 2 cars in to fit my car in the lot. The owners were very nice though. Waitstaff was also very nice and helpful. Full breakfast in the morning.

Not what I expected

In fact this is Bed and Breakfast facility. We stayed there for two nights after arrival in Dublin and before departure, in different rooms. One room was small and the only furniture was queen bed  and small corner table. The second room was bigger and had more furniture. The bathroom was standard with shower and toilet. The sink was in the room. But the service was excellent. Although we arrived at 11am one hour earlier check in time we were offer a  free breakfast (!) , until our room was ready.
Hotel is in 25 min. from center by buses 25, 26, 66 and 67 (tickets cost 2.7 euro). To get to airport you should take any bus til train station (10 min.), where you take shuttle 747 to airport (7 euro). We don't recommend to take taxi in Dublin, because taxi drivers bring you by not a shortest way.
