We are just back from a wonderful stay at Lough Lannagh Holiday Village. A large group of us stayed in three of the cottages whilst attending my son's wedding. The cottages are all very comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. They were all warm and welcoming to arrive into, and the batch of freshly made scones and tea and coffee awaiting us was a lovely touch, especially at this time of year. We received a great welcome from the owners, who were on hand during our stay for any assistance we needed. The location of the village is beautiful, set among trees on the shore of Lough Lannagh. There is a path facilitating a short walk from the houses into Castlebar which has a great range of shops, restaurants and pubs. We will definitely stay here again when we are back visiting beautiful Mayo.
