Nothing wrong with this place - Must have got their act together after some bad reviews - disadvantage is long way from city

Good value

The rooms are average and a bit smelly and don't have mosquito nets.  There is very little English spoken at the hotel and no eating options nearby.  We ate in the hotel restaurant which they opened just for us.  Ordered a beer which arrived over half an hour later, after the food and it was warm.  

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.  It's about 2km from the airport but taxi fares are fixed at a minimum of 80k regardless of distance. There were no taxis with meters.  We managed to get one for 40k by walking a little bit away from the terminal and flagging a taxi down.

Good if you have limited time between flights

This place is advertised at the Hotel booking kiosk in the Makassar Airport. I honestly don't know who selected this place as it is totally unacceptable! The entrance off the main road is a hole in the wall and on arrival inside it smells even at the reception. The rooms are small, filthy, smell of cigarette smoke, lights don't work, and present with a bar of soap and a towel no tea or coffee making. The TV is so old and poor quality. No Indovision just local channels, when you can receive them!!! The walls desperately need a wash From my room, through an ill fitting window, the view was a filthy plot with numerous chickens running around. As for the food well don't bother the breakfast is just inedible so no fried eggs etc. On a positive they do offer a pickup and drop off from and to the airport in a car with torn seats.You will need to be able to speak Indonesian should you have the misfortune to end up there. The noise from the main road continues throughout the night and if you get to sleep "the call" will wake you. Don't forget the mosquito repellent as there are no nets or sprays in the rooms. Give this one a miss!!!! I only stayed there one night as it was recommended by the kiosk. There are budget hotels then there are these  Never again

Disgusting

The whole place stank of fags, including my room. Room was full of mosquitoes and no mosquito net in sight. The reception service terrible when I complained about getting an inexplicable 3.15am wake up call I didn't ask for. Food was basically inedible. Gives me shivers just thinking about Makassar.

Absolutely horrendous

Room are not clean, the sheets are really disgusting. 
Tubes in the bathroom were leaking brown liquid and mushrooms everywhere. Smell was terrible.
I wouldn't recommend it at all. We made the mistake of listening to a local at the airport and paid in advance without visiting. To avoid
