Luxury and comfort - one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. A delightful retreat into the countryside from the hectic cities. The food, courtesy of talented cooks, was some of the best home-cooked food we've eaten during our travels in India. Thank you for the very warm welcome x

Relaxing retreat from the city :)

All pre arrival communication was excellent and we arrived to a very warm welcome.  We loved our spacious, lovely bungalow set in a garden area. At the heart of the working ranch/farm.  The ranch is so peaceful and delightful.  Meals are freshly made and the best flavours imaginable.   The local area is village and hilly country.  Guests can join walking treks that owner Dinesh leads.  We did not find this arduous and enjoyed his wealth of knowledge.  The Marwari horses on the ranch are beautiful.   Each member of staff is so friendly and guests are accepted with ease as part of the harmony of the farm.    We enjoyed a complete sense of wellness after a few busy weeks.  We stayed in Udaipur afterwards and think we enjoyed it better because we’d first stayed on the ranch.   We were trying to find part of a family story in the countryside of Rajasthan and Dinesh did everything possible to help us get started in what became a successful search!   Thanks to everybody!

Complete well-being in the Rajasthan hills

We loved Krishna ranch and stayed quite some weeks...It is peaceful the food delicious and the staff could not have been nicer. Our bedroom was clean and quiet. We were very comfortable here, and  loved the surrounding countryside and our hosts were very kind and helpful.

A wonderful month spent amongst the hills at Krishna ranch

Loved our stay here. Peaceful , well looked after. I did a 3 hour trek led by Dinesh which was amazing. Dinesh is very interesting and informative. The rooms were clean, food first class. Lovely dogs especially Lucy the golden Labrador. Exactly what I needed after a full on 2 weeks of city sightseeing. I would thoroughly recommend the Krishna ranch.

Lovely place to recharge your sightseeing batteries

Absolutely beautiful relaxing ranch on the outskirts of Udaipur. Fully recommend staying in the city and then booking a few extra days here just to relax! We also did the half day hike with Dinesh which was fab. The food is unreal - they use veg from the garden and it feels so fresh and made with love. They were also able to accommodate for our vegan diet. 

We hope to come back really soon!

Relaxing ranch in the beautiful Udaipur countryside

We cannot recommend enough. The ranch is an amazing place surrounded by nature, just outside the city.  The rooms were very clean, the people very helpful and the food was the best we’ve had during our time in India. After trying it once, we only ate at the ranch for four days because we knew we wouldn’t get better food anywhere else. 

We stayed for four nights to relax after visiting a couple of cities and could have stayed for many more. Just being on the farm, surrounded by horses, dogs, goats, cows and many more animals was amazing. If we get the chance, we will definitely return.

A little piece of paradise close to Udaipur.  A must for anyone that wants to combine nature and rest with the city.

It was my daughter's birthday so we booked a 3 hour horse trek. The service was excellent, pick up from the station as we arrived in the overnight train. When we arrived at the ranch we were given a room to use to freshen up and store our bags. Then we had a delicious breakfast. The horse trek was interesting and well run.lunch was lovely and they had even gone to get a cake for my daughter! An excellent experience that I would recommend to people wanting to do something a little different on their Udaipur trip. Calm and peaceful. 

Excellent service

Situated around 5 Kms from the heart of the lake city, Krishna Ranch house one of the best place for Horse riding, safaris, and Natural farm living. Rajasthani traditional theme decor and food is amazing. farm is situated near sajangarh wild life sanctuary. Mr. jain owner of this farm is very helpful and he is very knowledgeable about udaipur and surrounding area. Overall its a great place to stay and for experience...

Amazing Farm and Horse safari

My wife and I completed a 10 day horse safari starting with an overnight stay at the ranch and a 350km ten day ride north through the Aravalli hills to kiruli and then on a circular route back to Ranakpur. We spent a mix of nights under canvass and in local hotels. This is riding through rural India and is as exciting as it is charming. These well cared for horses are a joy to ride but the real gem of the holiday is Dinesh and his support team, evenings talking around the open fire were a particular treat. I am an enthusiastic carnivore but ten days on the fantastic vegetarian food prepared by the team was a joy. Our next event with this team will hopefully be pushkar horse and camel fair and then south to Udaipur.

Horse safari

We absolutely loved to stay there! We were there for three nights and stayed in the double room/house, which is very spacious, includes a terrace and is well equipped (be aware that the beds are quite hard though). The rest of the ranch offers plenty of outside space too: a common room where meals are taken, but also a patio/pavillion. Francine and Dinesh are great hosts, they answered all our questions and provided us with all the assistance we needed for organising transport (from/to the city, the airport and our next destination).
The ranch is very quiet, in the countryside, so surrounded by wild animals (squirrels, monkeys, peacock) and the ranch also hosts plenty of animals (horses of course, but also dogs and goats). It's only 7 kms away from Udaipur, which means it is also very easy to reach. Breakfast was great (tea/coffee, eggs, fruits, toasts), and so were lunch and dinner! The ranch also provides filtered water.
We also enjoyed very much the half day of horse riding with Dinesh to discover the surroundings.
