The stay was comfortable. Staff was supportive and prompt with service. food was homely. Would reccomend staying here. View was good from the waiting area of the Houseboat. Heater in the room made our stay comfortable and they had a backup generator when the power went off.

I have stayed here oné night with my family staffs are nice the owner is also Věry good person they Took every care nice houseboat every facilities are avibible here ač hair drier geyser etc nice view from houseboat foods are also amazing enjoyed a lot

I have been solo travelling in India, among other countries for several months now. I can safely say that this has been my favourite place to stay! It's a very original experience. I had a beautiful double room looking out over Dal lake. The house boat itself is gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and kind. Muhammad the owner is a character and full of stories. The food was delicious. They organized trips for me, like a sunset ride on the lake in a Sikara - which is not to miss!

Truly excellent and worth the money. The only thing I would say to be wary of is that many people come to the boat to try and sell you things. You must have strong will to keep saying "no, no, no" over and over again. I understand that people will try to sell me things when I am out in the Sikara, but I would really prefer if they didn't come onto the houseboat, where I shouldn't have to worry about these things. I think Young Bombay should not allow selling in the houseboat itself.

Still a 10/10 experience! Truly wonderful.

My favourite place I've stayed - unparalled.

We spent 2 days here in Paradise on Dal Lake.
The houseboats were superb and we were able to see them all with Noor the owner.
Our boat had only 2 bedrooms so was very private.
The boat was super clean and well maimtained and was from the British era so was very authentic.
Good bathroom and fabulous matress meant we slept well.
Ate their home cooked food and it was delicious as was the Kashmiri tea.
The staff were excellent and very helpful .We loved our stay and highly recommend it to westerners as it is right up to western standards unlike many places in India.

Best Houseboats in Srinagar

Great place to stay with really friendly hosts. And the food is just awesome. Highly recommend for your stay on Dal lake. The view is to die for once the clouds break.

Amazing houseboat in Dal Lake

This is a family business of long standing.  As such, the hosts have huge experience of looking after their guests, and understanding what their needs will be, depending on the time of year they are visiting.  They are also excellent guides on their city and surrounds, and arrange very interesting days out for guests, taking into account their ages and requirements.

The home-cooked food is excellent, hot and provided quite quickly.  The houseboat is well-heated during cold weather, and finally, the hosts of these houseboats really care about the welfare of their guests.

Nice place ,I would say they planned my trip in a great way ,had good food ,we ordered some chicken biryani taste was yummy ,good location and heating facility was amazing, rooms were cozy , would recommend this place ,will come back in summers 😊

Hello Umer .. Thank you very much for your outstanding and prompt  services ..House boat was excellent and very neat and recieved very good care by your team. I was skeptical as my in laws were coming alone .. but was also rest assured coz u were there to handle.. they had a great time and enjoyed their tour to Kashmir very much.
