A beautiful, serene, peaceful resort at a hill top in a huge property with lots of trees, apple orchard, home grown vegetables, homely food. lovely. For 2 days we stayed at the resort only. One can enjoy both sun rise and sunset. Very relaxing. Pets are allowed too. Reasonably priced. Owner Vikram, a lively person. Staff is humble.

Very Relaxing stay

We spent 4N5D at the Trishul Orchard Resort in the hills of Mukteshwar. While we enjoyed our holidays here, we fell victim of theft of cash, which completely spoilt the mood (later in the post).
It's a property spread across 7 acres of land with orchards, greenhouses and beautiful plants.

1. Location and transport: 6kms from Mukteshwar. The local market at Bhateliya is at a walkable distance.
2. Food: delicious.
3. Views: Beautiful views of the valleys and the Himalayas.
4. Security: We fell victim of an incident of theft of ₹14,000 cash from three different wallets, from our room.

We were told that the property was completely safe and there were CCTV cameras installed in different corners. We kept the wallets having different amount of cash, in the room and  latched the door when we were around the room and locked it when went to the dining space 100 meters away from where we stayed or went out to explore the resort, all this time being within the property.

The theft was very smartly done as only cash was stolen and none of the wallets were completely emptied, and only a handful of notes were taken out from the individual wallets (totalling approx ₹14k); The wallet having the maximum number of notes, lost the most. Therefore we could only realize it when we’re counting cash to make payment on the morning of our departure (We were carrying cash considering the remote location of the resort and owner's request to make the payment in cash). Mobiles and laptops were also there in the room, which were not touched. 

We reported it to the property owner immediately. Actions were promised but has not yet been taken as I'm posting this (4 days after our departure from the property, despite providing detailed response to many queries related to the theft over whatsup.)

We conclude that the property is not secure to stay. We expected the owner to be more proactive and provide a solution to our ordeal. So whoever is reading this post, please consider our experience before choosing this property. If you do decide, be vigilant as hardly any action would be taken by the owner of the property if you unfortunately face any such situation. 
Therefore I'm rating it just 1 star.

Unsafe property, victim of theft from resort room

Not sure where to start from but will give it a shot.
level setting, it had been close to a year since we ventured out our home for short break.
Considering the wanderlust type we are, this was a bright light we were looking for.
Googled around about a nice homely resort where our child could free his legs and actually enjoy his age without any restrictions.
Trishul orchard popped its bright name right up into the top recommended list.
Browsed around the snaps, looked promising & appealing, leading me to call up the owner, Mr. Vikram ji.
Now, up until this moment he was a resort owner whom I was calling to enquire about stay availability and by the time I had put the phone down, for me he was a friend who was waiting for me & my family in our 2nd home with open arms.
That is how you would describe Vikram ji. He will melt you with politeness and solidify your belief that you are in good hands by his intellect.
The nature of how one treats other surpasses anything else in my personal view.

We reached the resort on a Saturday afternoon, it was a nice cozy journey from Delhi.

If you are paying for something, you definitely have a right to "use" the space but not "Own" the space but when someone comes forward and says, this is your place then you take a step back and realize that this is a long term bond being formed.
The Trishul orchard resort is epitome of this long term bond. One would come here again & again just for the hospitality. From sharing home grown veggies to Chef always checking on you for your needs to housekeeping going extra mile to ensure your comfort is met and finally to entire Bisht family (The owners) for spending time with you & going the extra mile to help you and making you at ease are the ingredients you will crave for whenever you leave and thus will bring you back.

Calmness of the place, homely style cooked food, organic farming, Pets , birds, orchards all make your stay worth it.
My Son had a sparkle in his eyes at this place, his energy levels shot up.
His love for animals, fishes, birds grew multifold. He made new friends thanks to lovely children (Mahi & Nandini) who took him under their wings as one of their own lil brother.

My days at the resort were spent gazing into the snow peaks (when visible) from the garden outside our room or soaking up the winter sun and listening to nature.
This is all I wanted to do after months & months of constant work.

On a side note, If you are a adventure seeker, the resort helps you set it up as per your requirements as well.
go on a hike, view points, cycling, learn to farm, spend time with pets etc., there are lots of activities which can keep you busy.
Mukteshwar is about 15-20min drive from the resort.

The courteous staff will always be available to help and try to accommodate your needs.
Time spent at home away from home will remain in your hearts forever and will keep brining you back.

To each his own, for me how much effort was put into taking care of my family wins over anything else.
My rating is purely based on my experience and I will being going back pretty soon.

Home sweet Home

This is indeed an excellent staying option, 6 km before Mukhteshwar. Situated on a large area, on an elevated land. The views from the room are breathtaking. The whole property is magnificent, there is a sunset point, 100m trek, from where all peaks are visible (360 degree view). This is not the place of you are looking for luxury, the resort is basic. But the views, good behaviour of the staff will more than maki it up! The food is very delicious, they have organic farming. The owner Vikram ji is very helpful, and chief caretaker Manoj is very active. We were provided the East room, sunrise was visible from our bed!
Con: 1, no electric kettle in room. I told the owner, he promised to look into it! Rest all are pros.
But don't worry, they serve tea whenever called, it's just I think an electric kettle would have been better.
Geyser, continuous hot water is there. Heater is provide for a charge. Large family rooms are there. Lots of flowering plants. Good stay, recommened.


Amazing stay in the lap of nature far from the cacophony

The property is simple, yet tranquil, beautiful & externally well maintained - having rich vegetation & flora (though not so much in snowy winter) & facing the snow capped mountains. It has excellent open spaces for personal as well as community interaction. It gives a wholesome holiday with simple but tasty grub. The adventure park within adds a good dimension for the kids & adults. Has repetitive value.
