I would recommend for couples or solo travel.Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.If you want luxury then try elsewhere, but for simple/basic it was great - there is a small kitchen area guests can use also.

Very good and clean rooms.  Centrally located.  Staff is very friendly and very helpful.  Would definitely recommend.  The rooms are well kept.  Close to railway station and hospitals.   The owner is very cooperative and helpful.   Will definitely book again in the same hotel.

Very good hotel

I booked in advance but couldn't stay due to overbooking. The accommodation fee does not return. I do not recommend.

The only positive part of the hotel is it's close proximity with the MMCT station otherwise the area and cleanliness in hotel is below par and I will not recommend this hotel for family stay.

Not Recommended

The hotel has very good location and homely atmosphere. The ambience is great, with parking facility. The food served is hot and delicious. The service is prompt. Online booking can be done. Very near to Mall Road. Shopping can be done with conveniently.

Hotel Sweet Home is centrally located in Mumbai and good place to stay in Mumbai for Budget travellers. Elegant and Helpful staff.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The place has only about 5 rooms. The management is pleasant and very accomodating, but at times, the place felt slightly shady. Part of it is that it's quite dark inside and the help staff is always sitting around, too ready to help. 

All said though, the room quality was a cut above everything else I've seen in India in the 1000-3000rs range. Modern bath fixtures, fancy lighting, nice drape curtains, big rooms. The rooms are extremely quiet and tucked away from the road, which is quite nice after managing the bustle of Bombay everyday. 

I paid 1600/night. No breakfast or anything included. Nice central location with everything in reach by train or auto. Conveniently next to Maratha Mandir cinema, a good landmark to direct autos to.
