I had visited Kolkata as a family vacation and stayed at a luxury room in this hotel.

A V basic Budget hotel in a good location. The ambiance is not so good and luxury rooms are conjusted. Cleanliness not given that importance. Good for college hostel boys or backpackers. Does not appear a family hotel. The laundary towels are stinking to the core. The bedsheets are having stains all over and dirty. Not washed properly. The hotel is not worth the price. Prefer this hotel if none in the viscinity are available and - room is available for close to ₹1000 or less. 

A backpackers lodge and not a family hotel

The Small reception area, the person on the front desk didnt even had an idea about my booking. For the amount which i had paid for 3 rooms in this hotel, it was very expensive stay and so was the food. Lobby of the hotel is also too small. The room was filled with cigarette smell , the moment i entered. The bathroom- when you sit on the WC, you just need to stretch your hands to touch the bathing tap. Bathroom was too tiny, so was the wash basin. I had booked this hotel from goibibo. Even after repeated calls from their side to the hotel people, they didnt upgrade the room for free. As they had fooled us by this room in the name of deluxe room.This particular so called deluxe room was more lika a cage rather than room. The food here was 3rd class and damn costly. Next day morning, the so called lift stopped working and we had to travel to 3 floors by foot.
The location and the room service was good.

Pathetic and expensive

Decent hotel for one night stay. The hotel has shops and other department stores nearby. The ambience is quite attractive in the reception area but as the lobby approaches it's all dull and has poor lighting. There are no non-smoking rooms as per the bell boy. So be ready to puff in a good amount of lingering cigarette smell. The room I got had the mixture of smoke smell and moisture. I had to leave the windows open for sometime before settling down. The bathroom, bed and other amenities are decent. The a/c s and the furnitures are old style. I had ordered food little late in the night and was definitely served heated chapati s and curry. Overall a okay hotel to stay if you are in a transit- provided you get a good deal.

Decent Hotel

My husband's family put us up in this Hotel for the 10 days we spent in Kolkata.  It is close to the former 'joint family' ancestral home, now replaced by flats, so an ideal base to see everyone.
It was surprising quiet, well-staffed by friendly faces, with breakfast and laundry services, WiFi, t.v. a big bed and plenty of hot water

Professional staff and pleasing environment, lots of marble and teak, good walks to restuarants, shopping and parks... no touts or hustlers like the town center, in fact, very few tourists, either.

Off the beaten track

Amanzing location with great service and food best place at night to hangout and eat but no swimming pool is draw back............. As this is personal experince i visited every tym once in a month and my frdz too..........................

Very good

Here's a hotel that sort of made me wish I was a few pounds lighter or that I could make myself into a Bonsai version of myself. Decidedly cramped all around. Be it the lift or the staircase or the lobby, definitely not for the well fed!! I had a Royal room so it was just about okay, but I also managed a peek into the lower categories and felt claustrophobic !! Do keep your size in mind while using this place. Otherwise well located, and is a converted residential property so it is in a largely residential neighborhood. The food lacks the local flavour and is just about palatable. Would recommend only for short business trips if you have work nearby.

Fairly good budget hotel in the heart of the city

Overall, a comfortable and pleasant hotel. The standard room is way too small for anything more than an overnight stay - definitely not suitable for a couple staying for a few days. Wearrived after a long flight and could have done with a warmer welcome - but the staff were fine and helpful from the next morning onwards.Would have liked REAL coffee for breakfast, and better lighting in the room - it is quite dull and hard to read in bed.We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay here. The neighbourhood is quiet and the hotel close to the wonderful Lake Market, metro, night markets and the joys of Indian street life.

A comfortable place to land

This is worst hotel i ever Stayed.I don't recommend to business travellers.I never stayed in such room where no hot water, no cleanness.No charging plugs.I can't even move my legs.Its such a small room and its not worth paying even 1000 Rs for that low standard rooms.
