First impressions, decent rooms, toilet, bedding. However, it lacks basic facilities.There is no power back up for power cuts. There is no menu card at restaurant, you order and they prepare. No rate card also. For a city flooded with hotels and resorts of various kind, they should have though about having the above basic facilities.

Not so great hotel

I have visited this hotel last year. Those people does not have variety of foods and whatever they have provided us was not good.
There was Cricket Champions league final and I have hear a sound of happiness and joy people on counter side were enjoying. I thought may be India is doing well but in next moment I hear "Kohli Out" and those guys were celebrating it. This was India vs Pakistan Match. 
From this moment I started feel unsafe there.

No Good Food and Anti National

We stayed at this place from 20th Apr to 22nd Apr, 2017.  The place is just a couple of KMS away from the Kodai city bus stop.  First impressions, decent rooms, toilet, bedding.  However, it lacks basic facilities.
No hot water round the clock for a place situated in a chilling hill station.  Its just between 7am to 9am or 7pm to 9pm.  If you want it during other time, its 500 Rs for half hour.  Atrocious.
Cable TV is always blurred and it goes off at times
No complimentary bfast nor complimentary water on day 2, except for the day of arrival
There is no power back up for power cuts
There is no menu card at restaurant, you order and they prepare.  No rate card also.
For a city flooded with hotels and resorts of various kind, they should have though about having the above basic facilities.
