Had booked the entire villa for stay between 26/5/23 to 29/05/23 via PNR: 0101247309 booked from Stay Vista. 
After travelling for 28 hours with 3 kids we finally reached the property by evening 6pm dead tired and found that in front of our eyes the villa staff was checking in some other guests instead of us. We were asked to wait in the lobby. Some 5-6 policemen arrived at the scene after we complained. The villa staff stated that booking was confirmed in my name only but the manager had asked them to check in the other people as they were creating a scene. The manager arrived at the property after 90 mins. There was heavy commotion as the other guests said that they have been checked in and now they cannot be asked to leave. At one point of time there were about 25 people in the lobby. All this went on till 11:30 pm in the night after we set foot that we will not leave the property in the middle of the night and look for another place to stay the night with kids. Stay vista was just not able to manage the situation and till the end was asking us to leave when they themselves are confirming our booking which had been reconfirmed with us 5 days prior to our planned dates. The kids were severely distraught and tired. There was so much commotion and argument between the management of the property and the other guests, they were not even listening to the police. Having booked for a stay in a luxury villa you cannot in the worst of your nightmares expect to be treated in such a way. Extremely callous on the part of stay vista, dejected and disappointed.

Very very unpleasant experience

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve lived in so far.. It’s surrounded with mountains and has such a gorgeous view of Dharamshala at a glance.. Our stay for lovely and we felt so refreshed. The rooms are nice and spacious and the luxury room has the view of the mountains so if you want to just sit and have some me time with coffee and a book this is a place for you. 
The cook is just awesome who made us feel at home and all the meals we had were so yummy that we didn’t want to eat out at all.. Also the villa is walking distance to Dalai Lama monastery and the market so it’s just perfect. 
Overall the best experience and a must go for someone who’s looking to have a quite time up in the mountains..

We stayed Horizon villa south for 2nights with family .
The place was so mesmerizing just can't explain , Food was just amazing cooked. Staff was very good & kind . Location is close to the local market just 500 mtrs. 
Shall definitely stay again.

Perfect stay in McLeod Ganj , Loved it 

My stay at the Horizon Villa was perfect. Convenient, small, familiar. Everything you need for a short stay was there. An excellent chef on the premises and overall is the place well taken care of. 
Situated in the tranquility and still a short distance to the huzzle and buzzel of the center.

Tranquil and friendly

A hidden gem in the heart of Mcleodganj. The villa is situated near the Dalai Lama monastery. It is a 5 minute walk to the main market. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make the guests happy. The food is amazing. A perfect stay.

The mountain valley views are serene, accommodations luxurious, food is fantastic, the staff incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
Very nice homely cooked food is served by Mr Joginder who takes care of the property since past so many years.
The common sitting area is amazingly comfortable with best of views.
Each room is equipped with a microwave & refrigerator and a very well equipped.
The location is so strategic this its away from hustle bustle yet 5 mins walk away from the Mall road.
Its my second time here and will visit again for sure.

Magnificent Stay Experience - Sep 22

Just Wao !! 
The location is just about 600 Mts from the main Dalai Lama temple & the street shopping at McLeod Ganj. 
The view from the property is just blissful. 
Can walk to few Buddhist temples & main market of McLeod Ganj. 
The food & hospitality is just amazing. Food is freshly prepared on order. The rooms are very well maintained too.

Horizon Villa south is a great place to stay ,in McLeodganj. A great walk to the market is just 10 mins away.This place over looks the valley and on a clear day,one can see the sun setting. Since McLeodganj is a touristy place many travellers stay in the congested market place but this place is just a Lil away and completely secluded. One can feel the calm & quiet of the hills. The rooms are big ,well kept and clean. families can stay for long,not missing the comfort of their homes.The staff took full care of all our needs...I would go again and recommend my friends and family too...

A home away from home !!

We stayed here for 4 nights with family and friends.
The place was gorgeous , Food can't be described in words.. just amazing home cooked. Staff was very respectful. Location is right next ro the local market /mall road and it just couldnt get any better. Shall definitely stay again.

Loved it

Lovely place ! Just visited for the second time. The staff is pretty courteous and the location is just fabulous. If you’re okay with a pleasant 5-7 min walk to the main market area and living a little away amidst peace, this should be your pick! Great home cooked food as well !
