Really Excellent place. Beautiful rooms, family atmosphere, generous people. I arrived really later (or early in the morning) And Salim was wake up to open the doors of his house. All very clean, And quiet! (Important for me).
Salim show me the city and helped me with the transport and the visit. Good prices for the service. The neighbours are so amazing to, is just a really nice place to discover the Real India. I am a women travelling alone and I felt really safe and welcome in Bikaner, And in this home stay. I recommand 100% !

I really loved staying here with my sister. We are both young women and felt very comfortable here. The place is super relaxed, open, accommodating and he owner is very helpful. His mom makes amazing breakfast!! And it is so close to everything. They are very up front about price and extra charges which is very nice, giving us peace of mind. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic family

We stay 2 nights in this lovely home stay. The all family was very friendly and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS! This home stay is located in a quiet area from where you can see the real Indian life.

Saleem is a very honest person and high integrity. He arranged several tours for us and the quality was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. We had fun with him and he didn't rip us off and was really helpful with good advice. Two happy New Zealand customers!! Shane & Amanda

Excellent host

The accomodation is ok, with a nice teracce to relax. The owner speaks good English and he is very helful. We had very good dinner and breakfast prepared by the family. I recommend Karina Guest House :)

Nice place, tasty food

Big room, spotless, good WiFi. One of the best meal we got in India and a guided tour through the neighbourhood and the local markets. They even made tea early morning before we left. It was great, thanks!!

Great value for money

We were only arriving in Bikaner around 5pm. When we got there, we were really hungry, but they told us they were only cooking snacks at this time of the day, so we finally manage to get an omelette and a chapati, while we were waiting for the room to be ready. At 6:30pm, they told us that was finally no room available for us, but that we could stay at the owner place directly, which we did. Overall the place was ok (big room, but hard matress, toilet in the room, sink outside, no wifi and bucket for shower). We felt like we should have have a discount for the complicated check in and the last minute change. At least they provide us with toilet paper and let us leave our bag in the house even after check out time.

Not the best, neither the worst

1) Difficult to find, even for locals
2) Very basic accommodation. Very tough mattress, very small bath, unacceptable shower where this exists.
3) Very noisy street. People talking until late, dogs barking.

Family is nice and helpful but this is not an excuse.
The fact that this place is just a family guest house instead of a hotel should not be an excuse for the problems ...
If Indians or some of them are used to living very basically, it does not mean that guests must do so ...
A lot of things must change and be improved in this place but it does not seem to be any willingness to do so.
Bad reviews have been written since 2 years, basically all saying the same things,  but nothing has really changed ...

Really pity ...

AWFUL PLACE ! TO BE AVOIDED !

This was advertised as a 3 star guest house...how ? It barely makes a 1 star in my opinion.
We were picked up at the airport by Salim who's first comment was "pay me,not the driver " we were then charged 600 Rupees for a trip which actually costs less than half of his charge.
The room....awful...not clean at all. There was nowhere to put your clothes, no bin in the room, we had to ask for an extra towel which they seemed surprised at.
The room wasn't ready when we got there as it was apparently being cleaned, I find that very hard to believe, in the bathroom  ( and I use that term very loosely ) there was someone's comb, half a tube of toothpaste and a filthy bar of soap. Disgusting. 
The 'en suite' was the worst I have come across on our travels. Salim informed my husband he would need to switch the hot water tank on 10 minutes before using the shower, no big deal, until he was shown how to switch it on.....two bare wires pushed into a socket...this was actually in another bathroom. When my husband said that he needs a plug Salim replied yes he was going to get one soon. The shower was actually two separate shower heads, one for the red hit water and the other for cold....no mixer tap. Appalling.
The breakfast,described as wonderful home cooked food, was a fried egg on top of two greasy slices of bread....to be eaten with a spoon of all things.
The noise outside the place was terrible, there was a small herd of goats outside the front door which used the square as their toilet area. There was at least 5 dogs which isn't unusual but these barked most of the night. Then there were motorbikes being revved up and horns being blared, along with shouting and arguing on our last night there.
We had booked for 3 night but stayed only for 2 it was terrible, we will definitely never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone.
We have travelled all over the world in many different levels of accommodation but this place is one of the worst.
