We have spent just one night at Kosy Vik B&B but we have loved it. It's located not far from the suggestive main church of the town and close to all the attraciotns (supermarket, restaurant, fuel station) along the Ring Road. We have loved our cozy room with a private bathroom and proper space for the four of us! Very recommended it!

Wonderful stay with a wonderful host.  Rooms are comfy and clean and views are great.  I can't say enough wonderful things about the host. Very friendly and helpful.  Picnic breakfast was huge and delicious.  We ate it for lunch too!  Highly recommend!

The Host is very kind and helpful. She helped us and give us a lot of nice advices, The room is very nice and comfy with a nice terrace where you have a beautiful view.

I was really very surprised by the amazing host. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, the beds great. Bathroom clean and warm. Breakfast was very tasty and imaginative. I'm sure I'll be back there.

I was very pleased to find this place and am grateful we stayed. Hrund was very friendly and so helpful, going out of her way and providing me with a sample of some authentic fermented shark, which was a fun experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and we all slept really well. The bathroom was good and shower very powerful. 
The breakfast the next day was plentiful and delicious. 
I would highly recommend staying here and wouldnt hesitate to stop here again. Thank you Hrund!

Everything was just fine. Hrund is very friendly and makes u feel like home. The rooms are very nice and large enough for your luggage. The breakfast comes as a picknic-basket and has everything u want and the coffeemaker in the room makes real good one. We (mother & daughter) love the place and say thank u for the heartwarming style.

We loved the stay here. Super clean rooms, The breakfast basket we ordered was so lovely! Icelandic Skyr (yoghurt) among many other nice healthy options. The family who runs it is very helpful and kind. It’s and old stone house and only two rooms so you get good privacy. Really nice stay overall. 

The owner of this guesthouse has furnished two ground floor rooms in her home on the edge of town. Quiet and cozy. We ordered breakfast, which was enough food to make sandwiches for lunch. Ask for directions, as it was hard to see the number on the house.

Awesome stay! The hostess is great and very helpful! She goes through the city and gives you tips on everything to do! Very comfortable beds and modern updated bathroom! We would definitely come back! 

Absolutely loved our stay! Super cute house! It is a older home which gives it charm but has modern updates. Very nice and clean. Middle of town and easy walk to everything. Coffee maker and toaster in room. There is hair dryer. Beautiful view of the ocean from room. Very nice breakfast basket for the morning! Hrund our host was so very nice. She was wonderful to give us detailed tips for this town and the next!!  Wish we could have stayed longer!

Simply the best

Wonderful visit!! 

We had a good stay here.  The accomodations are simple, but nice.  The host is very kind and gracious and took time to explain our surroundings and make us feel welcome.  

Initially, we were worried because the people staying in the other room brought an infant (seriously, who the hell brings a baby to a B&B?)  But the walls were pretty thick.  Breakfast was very simple picnic snacks (bread, some things to put on it) but was thoughtfully prepared.  

Do yourself a favor and get a burger & a beer at the nearby brewhouse.  That place was awesome.

A good stay

We stayed two separate nights whilst traveling east and back to Reykjavík. Hrund is a lovely hostess who helped us with tips of things to do in the area and places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable, there are only two rooms so it had a homely feel! Hrund is happy to help whenever. The breakfast included was very fulfilling. We even got to taste some local shark and schnapps. Thanks so much to Hrund for our stay, we will be happily recommending your place to our friends! 

Pleasant stay! 

Nice little B&B in the middle of Vik. Only two rooms. Hostes is very welcoming and helpful and makes you feel at home. She makes breakfast, which is ready for you in the fridge, so that you can have it as some sort of picnic in your room (on your bed). Although she works during the day, she asks (by e-mail) what your plans are or how your day is. Nice personal touch. We had a perfect stay in Kosy Vik.

We’ve just come back from a most wonderful week in Iceland. We stayed in Kosy Vik as part of our tour of the south of the Island. We had a lovely evening there, being made most welcome by the owners. They let two rooms on the ground floor of their home. Our room was clean, spacious with a good sized en suite toilet/shower and a fabulous view of the Reynisdranger rocks, which legend has it were two giants who were trying to drag a ship onto the beach when daylight came and turned them to stone.
Our hosts were really helpful telling us about the local sights and amenities, and breakfast in the morning was the best of the holiday - fabulous.
We will definitely book again.
