We stayed at this property for a week and I am sure we wouldn’t have felt this way in any other hotels! The place is home away from home! I recommend this place to anyone!

-	Easy to locate.
-	Walkable distance to the center.
-	Very clean.
-	We had the big room and it was so spacious. They also had dining table so that you could eat something without being on the bed!
-	The toilet and bathroom are very clean and good for a single person and I feel for the size of the rooms they have,  the small size of the bathroom and toilet is not a negative point at all!
-	Fully equipped and clean kitchen and you can cook breakfast  for yourself as eating out in Iceland is pretty expensive!
-	The owners are very nice people and gave us information regarding the closest shops/ places to visit and also regarding the northern lights!



A beautiful place to stay at Reykjavik!

We only stayed here for two nights at the end of our Iceland adventure, but it proved the ideal location to explore Reykjavik from. The owner, Bjarni, was kind enough to accommodate payment before we arrived, which was extremely convenient for us. We were greeted at our room with information regarding the closest amenities, and Bjarni himself offered us great advice on where to/not to visit in the city. It was only a 15-20 minute stroll to all the restaurants/bars, so perfectly located in my opinion.

A short, but sweet stay

Having stayed here on 3 different occasions within a week, thank you to the wonderful host who accommodated our strange arrival/ departure times, other needs and whom we had a great chat with as well. He had no need to do this and it was much appreciated. 

10 minute walk to town centre, swimming pool and shop around the corner, bus stops too, good wifi, seamless check-in and check-out, well-equipped kitchen. Rooms very generous in size and have their own table and chairs for meals etc. Toilet and shower size the only drawback. But considering the extravagant prices in Iceland, we felt we got value out of it.

Kudos for the unexpected Christy Moore feature, from two weary Irish travellers!

Helpful host

This guest house provided simple, clean rooms and facilities (shared bathroom and kitchen). Location was good too with lots of bus routes providing easy access to the city center and an excellent thermal swimming pool just down the block. The only (major) downside are the many house rules (no frying of fatty meats, no cooking after 9pm which is a real bummer if you just came back from a day long tour, etc). The owners are quite nice too, but their living space is directly attached to the guest area with no doors to separate the living areas, so it always felt like staying with a friend’s parents that are doing you a favor. They’re nice, but it felt like we were intruding on their space at times. Nice place all in all, I’d consider staying here again, but be aware of what you’re looking for.

Nice place, if you don’t mind the house rules

Our stay at this small guesthouse was just fine. A big room with a comfortable bed (unfortunately the bed was with two single matrasses). There was a bit of dust underneath the bed and a few cotton buds from the previous guests but nothing major. Everything else was clean in the accomodation. The toilet was so tiny you couldn't stand up. The kitchen was fully equiped but the toaster did not work. The location was great. You could walk to everything from the guesthouse. Our stay was pleasant overall.
