Nordic Guest House

We booked one night here at the end of a two week road trip as we had hired a motor home from Camper Iceland (run from the same building). It was so good to be able to pull up with the motorhome and remove all our belongings straight into the room, having a good night's sleep before we took our flight home. This is a no frills place to stay, but the family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were two very nice bathrooms to share with approx 6 other rooms which was not a problem at all. I think they were undertaking renovations to the upstairs common room area as it was blocked off but there was a fridge, microwave and kettle as well as plates, cutlery, cups for you to use. The guest house is a short walk from the sea with restaurants and a few gift shops to look at. There is also a Bonus superstore within walking distance for you to buy food. (Food is expensive in the airport!) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the kettle wasn't working and there didn't seem to be any rush to sort it and having to use a shared bathroom, but for the money in Iceland, it's a decent place for 1-2 nights.
