We spent nearly a week at the hotel with my son, while biking around the lake. We used the hotel as a base to return every evening. 

The staff is stunning and extremely friendly, catering for all the request.
The room was big enough and had a small balcony. It is very clean and neat.
The hotel boosts a bar/restaurant where you get your breakfast. No hot food for lunch/dinner though. You can either walk to the nearby restaurant or eat cold dishes there. It is the ideal place for an evening chill and drink.
Although the hotel is on the other side of the road from the lake, they have an agreement with a very posh and stunning beach resort where you can spend the day at preferential rates. 
There might be bigger, better of more equipped hotels around the lake, we were very pleased with the overall package and I would recommend the place to those who wish to relax for a couple of nights in the vicinity of the Balaton. 

We have booked this hotel for 3 nights in May 2018. We came to Balaton for short bike holidays. The season was just at the beginning, weather was sunny, cca 26°C, water around 21°C. Some people were swimming, we just "tried" the water :)  Hotel has good location - just cross the street to the beach. Room was big, we also had a balcony. Though our room (Nr. 204) was faced to the street, it was calm at night. But the main season was just beginning, so don´t take this for granted :) Breakfast was good - ham, cheese, salami, scrambled eggs, sausages, jams, butter, Nutella, vegetables, fruits, yoghurts... I think everyone can find something.. We took our bikes to the room as we were offrered just to leave them in the corridor at the ground floor. Free parking at the back of the hotel is cool. The only thing I would really recommend - if you have room with balcony, you may want to use it in the evening, but that means all the flies and mosquitos getting in your room. So either hotel should think about installing the nets to the windows and doors to balcony, or guests should bring  electric repellents (we have bought one at Tesco in Balatonfured after first night at the hotel).

The owner was so very nice and drove us back and forth to a wonderful local dinner, since we arrived sans car.
Nice free breakfast, well served.
Beautiful pocket sized historical village within easy walking distance to hotel and overlooking gorgeous Lake Balaton, as does the hotel.
The hotel is very modest but priced well to offer a solid value. Only small observation was that carpets in room needed cleaning quite desperately.

A quiet place by the lake

Super location and wonderful host

The location is across from a private harbor and close to the beaches. It's an ok location. The hotel has plenty of parking. The room was not clean, the service was ok, and there were no mosquito nets on the windows, so many mosquitos around. We would recommend staying somewhere else. If you have to stay there don't eat dinner, it's just snacks and they could have been better. Breakfast was the best part of the stay. 

Just Ok, Average Hotel 

Not really a 4 star hotel. Many missing in room amenities. We had a room on 1st floor and had to carry up our luggage by stairs. Hotel had a musty smell. The room was large and spacious and there was a good variety for breakfast.
The reception staff at front desk when we checked out was a pleasant and helpful lady. She answered many of our questions.
Enough space for cars and free parking.

O.K for short visit.

Very friendly staff... but regarding the hotel and its facilities it is nothing special... as for the 4* hotel lots of basic things are missing! But these are the problems of other hotels as well by the lake of Balaton! It has been an experience...

One time experience.

nice hotel with tasty breakfast. Unfortunately the beach is not next to the hotel - it's a private beach for which you need to pay extra (50% discount for the guests of the hotel) - browsing the photos I assumed it's included in ptice and the beach is a part of the hotel.
Moreover, you need to take your own shower gel as for two nights we got only one small sample for two people... and you don't get water so you need to pay for it from the mini bar.
