Spacious and well equipped 
I was in room 8 I had a great sea view overlooking the garden 
The room was kept immaculately clean and fresh linens on a regular basis
The welcome was so friendly and warm at the port 
even Elvis came to say welcome when I arrived at the accommodation
Elvis is the resident watchdog and happy greeter
This is very close to everything but not to close to be disturbed by any noise
Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and tavernas
On leaving very early in the morning this was not to much trouble
And a tearful goodbye and some great baklava for my coffee 
I would not hesitate to recommend this to fellow island explorers

A small and very friendly self catering option

What can one say for a beautiful location just 200m from the pristine beach of Livadia! Wonderful homey garden…nothing overstated but lovingly maintained in the traditional ways of the island…Just like the rooms and all other areas of this wonderful getaway gem. The owners Ismini and Petros really are the beating heart of this establishment and will go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and at home. We have been coming back since more than ten years now and it has become a summer tradition to stop over Tilos and find an extended family in Petros and Ismini! Unmissable!

Feels like home!!!

Rooms were clean and comfortable, nice balcony with lovely view, amenities very good and comprehensive. Garden was really pretty and lots of comfortable seating.   

Hosts were really lovely and very helpful. We even found cakes in our fridge after a day out a charming and thoughtful touch

Lovely apartments

Castellani is a delightful place to stay. Close to the beach and the Village Square. Immy and her husband are such warm, friendly people, and so welcoming. Elvis the dog completes Castellani.

Highly recommended. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe.

A delightful apartment on beautiful Tilos

I was neither a visitor nor a holiday planner to Tilos and Castellania Hotel. 

But I called two months in advance Ismini and Petros and asked for a favour from them in order to ''organise'' a pleasant surprise for two of my friends, who were about to travel from the UK and at Castellania.

Ismini was very kind and helpful from the outset. She immediately accepted to organise my wish and kept it secret until the last moment. My friend was amazed and shocked by the gift that was ''waiting'' for them in the room! 

I had this idea but wouldn't be able to make it true without Ismini and Petros help. This is pure ''hospitality from the heart!''

My thanks and gratefulness to them, also, for the gift the sent me to the UK, with the returning friends.    

SUPER HELPFUL AND KIND

Castellania is the best accommodation we have stayed in and we have been to Greece 15 times. I cant  imagine how many times our beds were changed and new towels put out.Ismine is a lovely person She transported us both ways to and from the ferry and made us cakes, and a meal was in our room one day after  a long hot walk. It is really a pleasure to stay in this lovely peaceful beautiful accommodation . Tilos is very peaceful, very pretty and perfect for hiking.We did every track we could find and spent many days alone on beaches. Everything was perfect .  We even received a gift from Ismine and one for our Greek friend in England who she had never met. We will of course return to this wonderful place.

Just returned from a week on Tilos, staying at the wonderful Castellania Hotel.  Lovely comfortable room, overlooking the beautiful garden.  I wish I had been able to stay longer!  Thank you Ismeni for your kindness and hospitality. I will definitely be back!

A wonderful place

We were met off the ferry by Ismini and whisked straight off to the hotel. We had a beautiful room on the ground floor, immaculately clean, with beautiful shuttered doors overlooking the gardens from a wonderful wrought iron balcony. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day to a high standard. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, although basic, worked well for us. Ismini was a fabulous host who looked after us well. Elvis the dog was a funny personality and we were joined in the evenings on the balcony by a very friendly cat who liked to sit with us and share our feta and olives. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Tilos. A short walk to the village square and harbour. All the tavernas and bars were so friendly. Will miss this place.

cannot praise highly enough

A wonderful, peaceful, beautiful hotel with an air of calm serenity. We had a lovely stay & will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ismini for looking after us so well - nothing was too much trouble. Our spacious room was on the ground floor overlooking the beautiful gardens, spotlessly clean, & we always had hot water. The only thing that could have improved our stay would be to have had mosquito netting on the doors but having said that we would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place and hope to return next year.

Utterly delightful

Still on holiday while writing this review.I always travel with Olympic holidays,and Tilos is a stunning,beautiful,peaceful place to visit.The people are so friendly,and Castellania studios are just perfect in everyway.On arrival at the harbour,was personally picked up by the owners of the studios in there car and taken to the accomidation.My room,10 is upstairs with sea view,and beautiful well maintained gardens below.The lady cleaner was so lovely too,and cleaned my room everyday,and spotless on my return after going out for the day.
       I would recommend Tilos,just a really peaceful,beautiful place to chill,take in the sun,with beautiful coastal walks.Castellania studios are only a short walk to the seafront,just a perfect place to stay.
