FABULOUS FILIA .. again - our go to paradise… just amazing, Christos, Ann”Marie, and the whole family are so welcoming, if you want a relaxing, fun, fantastic, welcoming, and most relaxing holiday ever, just join the filia family… You will have an unforgettable holiday.

Wow fabulous

5 min walk to the port, still apart from the crowd. Spotless clean, the towels were changed every day. The owner and her son were very kind and helpful. They gave us a map, served us coffee and delicious home made cakes and cookies in the morning. The nice lady was so kind that she gave us key chains as souvenirs when we were leaving. We paid 54 euros per night for two people. It might seem expensive but actually a very decent price for Skiathos in mid August. The only thing is  internet is weak at the top floor. 

Superb

I stayed for two nights: location excellent as it is close enough to centre of town without being too noisy. Of course anywhere in town is affected by motorcycles and early morning revellers returning to their rooms, but this place probably less than most. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She always had a smile and a kind word, and even gave me breakfast on the house as I was on my own. The rooms are basic and clean but there is everything you need including a hair dryer, toiletries, a small TV and airconditioning. I would definitely recommend.

Great location and super friendly!

Filizia and Dimitri are amazing persons. We felt at home: their kindness is a rare quality, always ready to  satisfy our needs with a great smile that welcomes each guest.

Room was cleaned every day and always kept in order. Hotel is just few metres away from Papadiamanti, the main street of Skiathos Town, and the port but in a quiet area.

Coming back in Skiathos no choice, only Filia Hotel :)

The best choice

Considering the negative reviews posted for that property, one could skip it for other options. Reading through those reviews carefully, were not convincing enough for there squareness and decided to talk directly with the owner. The lady on the other side of the line ascribed those reviews to local competitors (!) and promised she never had such complaints. 
Booking and staying there 4 nights during August high-season proved to be a right choice. The room was very simple, very clean and only a 5-minute walk to the main pedestrian street with restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. Paying 55 euros/night was  not a cheap deal, but Skiathos town is expensive during high-season.
Air-conditioning and wi-fi were working properly. Bed was comfortable and a refrigerator was available.
Would stay there again, but not during high-season (August 1st-20th). Prices are more reasonable, service is better and hospitality more obvious during other periods of the summer, all over the island.

Clean, simple, well located

I actually booked this room via booking.com with my friends-Average rooms and too much expensive to pay €70 per night. Wireless is very weak in most of the rooms but very helpful and kind personnel, especially the owner. Next time I will search more to find a better place in a better price-5 mins walk from the centre but the photos in the internet are not representative of what guests will find when they go there 😃 2 days we had shortage of hot water and no internet at all.
