Fabulous beach front hotel with sea view rooms. Good size room and bathroom which is cleaned every day. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Good plentiful breakfast with fresh orange juice. Hotel is located beside a road but rooms have beef made soundproof with AC. Rethymno is a beautiful town to visit and if you should decide to visit then stay at the well located Poseidon Hotel. 

Excellent hotel and location 

I went to the Poseidon with my best friend for almost 2 weeks. It didn‘t even take a week to feel at home there. The people who work at the Poseidon are the best people you‘ll meet. They‘re so kind and caring. The rooms are very clean. The balcony with the view on the sea and the old town is also something that fascinated us on a daily basis. The breakfast is served in a very good amount and if you‘re vegitarian no problem, they got you. I recommend visiting Rethymno 100% and if you go, sleep and eat breakfast at Poseidon Hotel.🥰

New Home in Crete

I went there with my best friend. We were welcomed by the staff in front of the hotel and from the first second, we felt at home.
Not only did we get a great breakfast every morning, but we really made great friends there. For us it was so much fun to just hang out at the hotel and talk and laugh with the staff! The location is amazing too! In only 10 minutes you are in the oldtown, which is beautiful! And in two seconds you are at the beach, where you also can order drinks and snacks from amazing workers!
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and we had the perfect view from our balcony!
I can only recommend this hotel and we will be going back for sure! 

new home in rethymno 

We spent 12 days at the Poseidon Hotel. We booked it because it was in front of the sea but soon we realised that this hotel is much more than “only” having a nice seaview (which is actually stunning). We felt really comfortable and after every trip  it felt like coming home when we got back to the hotel. The rooms are very clean and have a nice bathroom. The breakfast is delicious( fresh orange juice, eggs, bread, yoghurt with honey and fresh fruits...).The sea is very close and there are free sunbeds. The beach was clean and the staff of the beach service was very kind and always in a good mood. The cocktails are delicious and they have best Raki of Crete;)
The Poseidon hotel is a family company managed with so much love. They do their best to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome.
In the Morning Alex and Maria are there to fulfill every wish (when we couldn’t have breakfast because we went to a trip early in the morning they prepared sandwiches for us), in the afternoon Apostolis and his team are there for you to have a good time at the beach and in the evening/night you can enjoy the best Cocktails of Rethymno made by Andreas. 
The Poseidon Hotel felt like home and we will definitely come back! Thank you so much for everything, guys!

Great time at Poseidon

It's first time in our life that we take a booking at the two stars hotel, but we had trust in the reviews from internet, and we don't regret. 
Was five days, nice, quiet, good breakfast, nice staff, everything was super! 
Good position, on the beach, near to the Center and to the harbour.
Also the price was very good!

There aren't enough words to describe our stay in AMAZING hotel!!! Everything was perfect: from the structure, to the position, to the staff, to the rooms, to the clenings bedroom, to the AMAZING breakfast and to the beach right opposite the hotel! I reccomend it to everyone vising Rethymnon! Thabks guys, you made our holiday PERFECT!

Amazing

Fantastic hotel right on the beach front. Private section of the beach with free chairs and umbrella all day. Drinks and food available from your chair. 

The hotel staff and beach staff all speak multiple language Greek English and German all exceptionally.  

You are made the feel welcome and you get the impression it’s a family run hotel. 

We paid £57 per night in September and the room had a beach front view and balcony. Complementary air con, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern with rainfall shower head. 

The breakfast is sizeable and filling with nice quality food. Save yourself a fortune and come to stay here. 

I can not recommend this hotel enough. If we ever come back to Crete which I am sure we will it will be to this hotel.

Great location great value for money very clean no complaints.

Have visit this Hotel again, have been here more than 10 holidays.  Cosy hotel on the beach with the best service ever! Small Hotel, so you get to know the staff very fast, and they really CARE about you!

Extremly friendly staff - feel like home!

We stayed a week here with my daughter and were very satisfied with this hotel. The location is good. All the balconies faced straight to the ocean. The room was nice and clean. Breakfest was good and the owners very friendly and helpful. We got great value for money.

Very nice and friendly hotel in perfect location

Lunch many times here. The food is ok but the waitress, Rally, is so lovely she gives this place 5 stars for us. She looks a bit like Amy Winehouse. Lovely sweet girl. Give this place a visit if you are passing.
