Preparing to leave after spending two lovely weeks here. The garden, pool, beach, bar and resraurant is nice, everywhere is so clean, the apartments a bit old fashioned and the shower definitely not the most modern ever seen. But the best is the staff! I am overwhelmed by their kindness. Always smiling, helpful and extremely kind towards our two children❣️Thank you to all of you for making our two weeks of summer holidays here unforgettable!

Platanias is amazing. The beach, the bars, the food, everything is amazing. We stayed in a villa, Barbra the cleaner= amazing, she couldn’t have  been more help, and she recommended so many places for us to visit

1 visit at this hotel. Very good hotel (an Apartment with small kitchen) 2 rooms- Familie .Not long travel from airport. 30 min. Good food- nice staff- good service. Pool area nice and clean , you only have 3 min walk , then you´er in town.

I have stayed at this hotell many times also  some times twice a year and I could not even consider another hotell. 

It's a perfect holiday destination for couples and  families. 2 pools and the closeness to the sea shore, where one can walk for miles in the sand. It is a quiet place at night and noise from cars driving through Platanias cannot be heared at all.

Platanias is a lovely little town with many shops and restaurants. I found that Diogenes restaurant has a huge menu and a lovely outdoor area for dining, perfect for a meal watching the sun go down behind the horizon.

Hotel Villa Platanias, Platanias, Crete.

The hotel is situated almost on the beach, and in short walking distance from the main street. Quiet and safe surroundings. Very competent and helpful staff, extremely nice restaurant on the beach. 
Good aircondition wich were needed. 
We did not have breakfast included, the bakery were only in short walking distance. 
Good wi-fi in the reception and on the beach.
