Ktima Karimali

Actually in Arilas, Perdika,this appears to be a group of semi detached studios in vast quantities of grounds,all discreetly positioned for maximum privacy. We arranged to be met in Perdika and followed Thanassis to the studios. We had a rough idea where they were and we were met at our hostesses house who walked down to our place and we followed in the car. The track to Ktima is a dirt track which is extremely steep at the final ascent but boy, it's well worth the drive! Our studio was amazing, with an actual kitchen worktop and on first glance, the bathroom looked lovely, all tiled and a shower tray and curtain. On closer inspection, the toilet was positioned so you had to have your feet in the shower tray when using!!! The built in stove we were told not to use and to use the spare one. This only appeared to work on one ring but never mind, we coped! There was no drinking water either, which seemed strange. The two single beds were very comfortable and modern. The verandah was lovely, looking into the garden and out into pure nature. it was furnished with some solid, cast iron furniture.Unfortunately, the fly screens were broken but not too much of a problem during our stay as it wasn't overly hot.You could also see over the greenery to the distant sea.We had our own lemon tree which we took advantage of. Despite there being a good few faults, this is the place we enjoyed the most, simply sitting listening and watching nature. We were joined by a very friendly ginger and white cat who loved company and we loved him! You need your own transport to get here, it is in the middle of nowhere.
