A fairytale! A place that you should visit even once in your life. I found out about Limnos Windmills from an article related to the North Aegean island from a travel magazine. We decided to go there because we didn’t want a hotel accommodation or something stressing or protocol. We wanted something friendly, familiar but also amazing and unique. Great position at the entrance in Kontias village, from where you have access to the whole island of Limnos. The fifth windmill, where we have stayed was well designed and very nice organised and efficiently equipped. We had comfort even the space provided wasn’t so large. The hidden gem at this place is the delicious, traditional and original breakfast brought form the Σαρικλις bakery. The staff and the owner Teo were very helpful and attentive. The bar in the evening was nice and charming. Maybe the music was loud in the night.
