Locally owned and operated little hotel with private balconies overlooking the sea and clean, simple rooms, we couldn’t have gotten a better deal. Bathrooms are small but sufficient and the air conditioning worked great. We were met by an “auntie” who kissed our cheeks and helped us check in. The “how to use the remote” lesson was hilarious. The balcony wrapped around the room and there were beautiful sea views! It was a great value, too. 50 meters walk to the ferry port!

Perfect little hotel for one nught

This was a great place to stay overnight very clean and quiet. Katerina was a pleasant and lovely host. Breakfast was plentiful and the price was right. 
My family and I stayed because we came over from Skiathos late and had to travel in the morning to Athens.

A Family run Hotel very clean and quiet

Although our stay here was only over-night (to break up our car journey from Pelion to Athens) we were made very welcome by our host Katerina and staff.  Katerina speaks very good English and we were soon installed, via the small lift, in our first floor sea-side bedroom, with excellent views of the boats and ferries coming in and out of the harbour from the spacious balcony and the mountains of Evia in the distance.  Our room was clean, beds very comfy and there was a powerful shower in the typical Greek bathroom.  Our breakfast was served in the light and airy restaurant at the front, overlooking the sea, with some of the tables outside on a small terrace.  The breakfast was huge - we were served bread rolls, pastries, ham, cheese, toast crackers, jams and marmalade, fresh fruit, orange juice and tea or coffee!  We found the previous reviews from other guests accurate – Katerina is a very likeable character, very friendly and willing to help in any way she can.  There are many restaurants, cafés, bars and beautiful church in the nearby square, overlooking the ferry boat landings, together with a nearby supermarket (on two floors) selling just about everything!  …. We are planning our next visit already!

What a find!

Amfitrion is a great place to stay before catching the ferry. We were welcomed with open arms (literally) which set us off on the perfect foot for our holiday touring the Greek Islands. Would recommend anyone to stay here...Katerina couldn't do enough for us

Arriving late in the evening due to ferry problems at Volos, we had to jump Alonissos early and found ourselves at Agios Konstantinos. 

In pouring rain, we stumbled into this hotel on a recommendation - and I am glad we took advice. This hotel is really Greek in a way you should want to experience. With my pathetic smattering of Greek, I was able to book a room for the evening which included my little dog - oh and the husband. The owner was an absolute sweetie and gave us a great room that was pretty recently upgraded and with a fair size bathroom and sea view. The foyer is traditional and with a wooden entrance, but the rooms are modern, clean and stylish, so don't be fooled.

The breakfast is included and is buffet style so you can feed yourself well. There are eggs, a beautiful chocolate chip cake, cereal, bread that is fresh, tea, coffee and fresh juice. All for €55.

The owner couldn't have been more helpful, both as a host and helping me with my Greek! She blew kisses as we left and we promised to go back. If you can ferry out of/into Agios Konstantinos instead of Volos when in the Sporades then stop of here. I can't recommend it enough and miles better than the Volos experience.
