Everything was tasty! The fish recommended was more than perfect! Thank you!!!  We will come back every time! The owner  it was on the table to take our order! Beautiful place with perfect view on Fiscardo port! The prices are good for every pocket!!! 😊 

Good taste! 

Whilst I gave 5 stars, this isn't a 5 star resort. It's an incredibly basic room. But... At about £60 per night in glorious Fiskardo, well that's hard to beat. The room is compact, but includes a decent fridge, a kettle and some cups for coffee and tea. A tiny but clean and functional bathroom. The bed was comfortable if a little firm. The air conditioning was good. 
But what makes this room is the balcony and the view of Fiskardo harbour and the sea beyond. Exceptional. You can sit there for hours just enchanted by the toing and froing of the boats and just the sheer beauty of the view. 
It would be hard to imagine a better view. The restaurant below has a good Greek menu and we had a lovely lunch there. 

Cheap and very cheerful 

This is the 5th time my wife and I stayed here so I guess that says it all. It's still brilliant! Not high end luxury but the rooms are spotless and in my opinion it is the best position in Fiskardo. Food is excellent and staff are super friendly. Alex, thanks again for a great stay.

5th time we've stayed, need I say more

Enjoyed our stay, we received a very friendly welcome and excellent service. The room itself was quite basic but the views made up for everything. Loved the large balcony that got the evening sun, would be even more glorious if only the chairs were more comfortable! Enjoyed watching all the boats and luxury yachts coming in and out. The bathroom was very small with a small shower, enclosed by only a shower curtain.  The large fridge was very welcome and being able to make our own drinks. Great location, only a short walk to the harbour front. We ate in the Taverna below which was very good.

Excellent value in a superb location with amazing views.

Best location in Fiscardo. Views of the harbour were stunning from our room. A short easy walk to the bars & restaurants in the harbour & only  two minutes walk from the ferry landing, if that’s how you arrive (as we did). Simple rooms, Alex very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning location.

This is our fourth visit to Nicolas Rooms and we’ve never been disappointed. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, TV, iron and ironing board as well as a safe.  The balconies have space for drying swimwear etc. Most importantly though is the host, Alex, he’s super friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious every morning as was the evening meal we had there. The location also makes this a great place to stay with a fantastic view over the harbour but away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We love this place. look forward to our visits and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Can't fault it

Great view across harbor to waterfront from room and private balcony. Clothes line on balcony. Comfortable room with night stands and receptacles by the stands. Desk with drawers and comfortable chair. Large cold refrigerator with freezer for making ice cubes. Power strip on top of refrigerator for extra receptacles. Nice bathroom with shelf for products. Reliable Wi-Fi at 7+ Mbps. Such a wonderful, friendly and helpful owner. He carried our luggage up to the second floor. He was always cheerful every time we asked him things about the hotel and town. Good value. There is a short walk to the old Venetian lighthouse and on the way there are some rocks to swim from in sparkling clear water. Great fun watching ferries come and go and sailboats coming in at the evening to moor all around the harbor. We did not take breakfast there since it started at 9:00AM which was too late for us. We walked 5 minutes into town to cafes open at 8:00AM. Nor did we eat at the restaurant since it was closed between 3:00PM and 7:00PM when we like to eat. The menu did look good at reasonable prices. I would not stay any place else when we return to Fiscardo.

Great room with view and amazingly nice owner

We stayed at Nicolas Rooms for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. It is a wonderfully traditional Greek hotel and taverna, overlooking the beautiful fiskardo harbour, yet tucked away at the end so a more relaxing experience than some of the other restaurants. Alex, who runs it, was super friendly and always interested in how our days had been. Nicolas is also wonderful and still so enthusiastic and passionate after all these years! The food is outstanding, real Greek home-cooking amongst a plethora of (sometimes expensive) seafood restaurants all along the harbour. This place is a more humble and traditional offering than many others nearby but we fell in love with it for that reason, a must visit.

A very special place

This was our second visit to Nicolas Rooms and it didn't disappoint. A truly authentic family run hotel that is spotless and well maintained. We had breakfast here and dinner twice and the food is great. Location is brilliant overlooking the bay just on the edge of the hustle and bustle of Fiscardo. We'll be back.
