We had a lovely welcome from our host, she’s lovely. The apartment was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious. The views are stunning. The pool was clean with great sun loungers. A bbq if you needed it, and lovely seating area. Check out was 12 o clock, our flight was in the evening, but our host was happy for us to vacate at 7pm. We will definitely be back. Thank you Chritoforos Apartments for your wonderful hospitality.

The most wonderful week spent in a stunning apartment

I don’t know where to begin except to say that I‘ve never experienced more genuinely gracious hosts than here at Christoforos Apartments. 
We arrived at almost 10pm, and the hosts were there to greet us, show us around our flat and even allowed our children to take a brief evening swim. There were flowers all over the flat, 3 balconies, a great view, a simply equipped kitchen, good working AC, a nice pool area surrounded by beautiful gardens and enough shade at every hour of the day, a sweet library of books under the stairs and hosts who are there daily to maintain the grounds and answer all your questions.
There are only 6 flats, and it’s best to ask for an apartment on the ground floor or upper floor, if you want a view. The 2 apartments on the lowest (basement) floor have terraces with lovely gardens but no view.
If you’re plan on cooking, it’s best to bring a good knife, peeler, whisk, salt & pepper and basic herbs. We cooked almost all our meals, and those were the things we needed most.
The apartment’s location in the Lourdata area is ideal. We rented a car for our entire 10day stay and drove everywhere on the island, even took the car on the ferry between Argostoli and Lixouri a few times. All the distances were manageable day trips. 
The closest beach is Kanali and it’s beautiful and was empty the 3 times we went.
It‘s a good 20 minute walk from the apartment. I recommend parking the car at the end of the street where the path leading down to the beach starts. For those who are fit, the walk down takes about 5-10min…do wear sneakers because the path has some steep bits.
The family running Christoforos puts lots of love in their apartments. They are very simple & slightly dated so don’t expect glam-hotel standards, but the apartments have charm and our Apt3 was a lovely „home“ for our visit to Kefalonia.

You’re part of the family

Fantastic location with views from three balconies on your unit including an uninterrupted 180degree sea view. Place is quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The accommodation is top notch, bedroom with comfortable bed , bathroom well stocked clean and provisioned. Lounge area and kitchen dining area are comfortable and stocked with everything you would need to cater for yourself. Good aircon and wifi. To top it off the owners will collect you and return you to the airport. It wont cost and arm or a leg but it is worth it. By the way Kefalonia is just beautiful.

Second Time Here and We Will Be Back

Just returned home from a great weeks stay.
Lovely apartments in a quiet area.
Only 6 rooms - lovely pool area - nice and clean.
we had the pool to ourselves a few days but if all the rooms were taken by families it could be an issue as lack of beds around the pool if 4 people in each room. But we managed fine. 
I just wish that other guests considered others and didn't reserve beds around a pool and also leave lie lows in the pool not being used!
We were also please that we have a ground floor as the terrace area was in the shade which was lovely as it was very warm.
Only basic kitchen facilities but it wasn't an issue to us. 
We asked for some washing up liquid and cloth which they gave us but I think they expected you to bring your own or buy !
Some very basic bits would have been nice - ie - salt and pepper. Oil for cooking etc...
but we only made breakfast so it was fine. 
The owners dad even took us to the supermarket on arrival which was great so we could but some water, wine and bits for breakfast.

Wonderful

We stayed for two weeks at the Christoforos apartments and absolutely adored it!  The apartments themselves are quiet, spacious, clean and well looked after. We had a first floor apartment, which delighted us as soon as we walked in with its views from its three balconies! Sea view at the rear and mountain view at the front, with a side balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. The balconies are a good size, and are well laid out to offer privacy, with bougainvillea and palms offering a screen.

The owners are charming, friendly and very helpful, and came every morning to clean the pool and to water the plants and to sweep the paths. Everything was immaculate! There is even a little library tucked away below the main steps for guests to swap books. Their garden is a delight, and really adds to the special feel of the place. 

The apartment had a kitchenette/living area, with separate bathroom and bedroom. The kitchenette was well equipped, with two ring cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, decent saucepans and frying pan, other kitchen implements, and  enough glassware and china for four to dine. The mattresses were good and firm and we found them very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space. 

The sheets and towels were changed every other day, with little posies of fresh bougainvillea left on them, as well as fresh flowers in a vase in the living area -  a really nice touch!

The apartments are about a 5-10 minute walk to the local shops and restaurants, depending on if you're rushing or sauntering! It's about a 15 min walk down to the beach, down a steep uneven path. There's a little bus though that takes you down to the main Lourdas beach (and back up again!). The owners provided us with a bus timetable. 

All in all, we were left with the impression that the owners really cared that we enjoyed ourselves and that we felt at home and comfortable in the apartment. Definitely one of the best apartments I've stayed in.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival and shown to our apartment.
The hotel is lovely there are only six apartments so it was nice and quiet. The rooms are very clean, sheets and towels were changed pretty much every other day. The apartment had an L shaped living room and separate bedroom with a double bed (rather than two singles which lots of hotels in Greece tend to have).  
Our room was on the ground floor but you could still see the sea and the patio was covered in a mass of flowers so it was private and smelt wonderful. The smell of the flowers in the garden was one of the first things I noticed when we arrived. Plus there were fresh flowers in the bedroom and living room which were replaced every few days.
The owners work so hard keeping the garden tidy, cleaning the pool every day, cleaning the apartments etc.
The pool is a good size and a lot of the time we had it to ourselves.
The apartments have air conditioning, small kitchen area with fridge, kettle, toaster and two electric rings all that we needed. There wasn't a safe but we weren't concerned as we have been to Kefalonia before and it is a very safe place to visit.
All in all if you want a small friendly hotel that has a charming garden, is clean and quiet you can't go wrong staying here it was perfect for what we wanted.

Little Gem

Really good apartment, clean, spacious quite modern and fresh bourgainvillea left in the living and bedroom areas every time Marianna cleaned them.  Sheets and towels changed almost every other day.  We were in apartment 1 top floor which had the best views.  Mountain view from the bedroom balcony and sea view from the living area balcony.  Just perfect, so quiet and private and ate our breakfasts every morning looking out to sea.  There was good water pressure for the shower and toilet rolls were provided.  Apartments 1 and 2 are on the upper first floor, with balconies, 3 and 4 upper ground floor  with balconies then 2 basement apartments  with terraces even these could see the sea.  The pool area was next to the basement ones but still private as so many flowers and plants and bourgainvillea around.  The pool was lovely and rarely used and kept very clean.  Easy walk to tavernas and 3 supermarkets in Vlahatta.  All the restaurants we ate in were very good with lots of fresh ingredients and the village wine very good.  This could be bought from the supermarkets for 2.50 euros for 1.5ltr yammas great for drinking on your balconies.  2 starters, 2 mains and 1 litre wine and mythos for between 37 and 45 euros in Vlahatta and Lourdas.  Kanali beach takes about 15 mins to walk to from the apartment very steep to come back up though need sturdy footwear.  This beach is very wild, quiet and beautiful with a couple of turtle nests on it.  Lourdas beach is lovely too with sunbeds 6 euro for 2.  The water is a gorgeous turquoise colour and crystal clear.  Even saw dolphins swimming off shore on our last day.  We hired a car from Pefanis at the airport so used this to tour the island and to go to Lourdas beach.  They do run a minibus service from Vlahatta to Lourdas beach in the daytime for about 1 euro per person.
All in all we thought this a perfect holiday it had everything we wanted from a greek holiday and we shall return.
