24 reviewsThis is our second year going to Nikolas Apartments in Ammoudara Herakliou, Crete. We will certainly go back every time we go to Crete, it is our home away from home. The property is recently renovated, very clean, very tided, with a beautiful garden. The kitchen has everything you need. There is also a swimming pool which the owners have brought up to the new covid19 standard requirements. Of course, you have the awarded Ammoudara beach, 6Km long, just a few steps from the property. The owners are very nice, very helpful, very accommodating. The property has ample space for parking if you arrive by car as we did. If you are concerned about the coronavirus issue, the property is up to standards and complying with all related protocols. There are restaurants nearby, we ate mostly at Aris-Katerina which is a bit further away, but an enjoyable walk through the resort (or by car, there is parking next to the taverna). The property is close to the main port of Heraklion, reachable by bus no. 6 or by car (there are many parking parks, so driving to Heraklion is not a problem). There is also a huge Sklavenitis supermarket, a Shell petrol station, quite a few pharmacies, etc in the area.
