Extremely comfortable beds to the point you didn't want to get up
Breakfast was decent but tasty with a big selection
The hotel is close to the beach and to many restaurants and coffee shops
All the staff were wonderful and provided amazing hospitality 
The room was getting cleaned on a daily basis

Exceptional

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Everything was very clean and Elias, his mum and sister are great hosts, always available for every request, very kind and generous. The hotel is fairly new, it’s a bit far from the main road so there aren’t noises and it’s 2 minutes walk from the beach and many tavernas, restaurants And markets. The breakfast is great! The rooms are clean and have every you need.We would return straight away! Many thanks for everything!

Everything was very nice. Elias and all the team were very friendly and always ready to help in any occasion. Hotel is situated pretty far from the road, so the traffic noise will not disturb you. It was my second trip to Kos, so because of the Elias hospitality l liked it much more then the first one.


Perfect

Thank you Elias for very nice holidays! The hotel is very clean, the atmosphere is very cosy, domestic. The hotel is very close to beach, and the beach is the best in Kefalos, the cleanest and deserted. Elias helped us with any question - from the best place to eat, bus schedule to how to find the doctor and first aid. The room was cleaned every day with towels replacement. Room is really big, with conditioner, very nice  and comfortable furnishings. On breakfast was local food. So we are happy of right choice to stay here, and hope to come back in next summer.

In kefalos best place to stay

Recently spent 13 nights at this fabulous hotel - quiet, extremely clean, comfy bed, abundance of hot water at all times,  WIFI, AC, excellent Breakfast, great outdoor patio, beach across the road.  However the best past of my stay was the people who ran this establishment.  We arrived past 1AM and the owner was waiting up to welcome us and offering all kinds of drinks, food if we needed it.  This was the pattern through the whole stay, there was always one or more member of this family run hotel  to smile with you, to answer questions, to make suggestions, (in my case to add the WIFI info to my iPhone) asked how we enjoyed our day!  And encouraged by all to pick and eat the apricots from the trees in the garden.   GREAT STAY!!!  GOING BACK NEXT YEAR!!

FOURTOUNIS HOTEL, KEFALOS, GREECE

Fantastic, from the start of our holiday to when we left. We arrived earlier and the room wasn't ready, so the owner, Elias, told us to seat and relax and offered us a cup of coffee, while preparing the room. it was extremely good value for money. The location was spot on, we walked everywhere and it was an excellent base for walking to all the best beaches, Kamari, Agios Stefanos. Right in front of the hotel there's the bus stop to Paradise beach, the airport and to Kos. Excellent breakfast, every morning we had a different cake and homemade jam. You gotta ask for yoghurt, which is always available. Nice bedrooms, with a private balcony. Elias and his sister are really nice and helpful. Ask them the recommended tavernas where you can have a great greek meal. Super recommended! Thank you all for our pleasant stay,

Feeling at home

We stayed at the Fourtounis for a week in September and had a great stay. 
The hotel is very clean with comfy rooms and was good value. Our room was at the front of the hotel with some sea views from the balcony and had a safe, air con and free wifi which worked in some areas of the room. No TV which was good. The room was cleaned every day except Sunday. 
Breakfast was included which was more than adequate with home made jam and cake plus bread, cheese, ham, juice, fruit, tea, coffee, toast etc. The family that own the hotel were friendly and helpful so it felt a bit like staying with friends. 
The location is excellent with the beach a very short walk away and lots of local restaurants serving great Greek food at brilliant prices. There is a supermarket and bus stop right outside the hotel. The bus stops at the airport on the way to Kos town but only runs a few times a day. As the times matched our flight times we got the bus back which was just 2 euros each and took about 25 minutes. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel which was 30 euros and was only 5 minutes quicker. Kefalos has an nice traditional feel which we liked and we would stay here again. 
The only thing I would note is that the shower is very small but I think this maybe common in Kos.

Air con included. It was very efficient.
Got off at bus stop. Albeit Hotel it is only 100m from road. No direct path. Had to walk a massive dogs leg to get there. Owner did say he would have picked me up.  I did not know this otherwise would have defiantly done it.
Room very tidy. Nice bed, but shower cubicle small, in fact would say if you are of a large disposition, you would not get in it!!

One night only

We have been in this hotel from aug 21 till Aug 26 ( 5 nights ) The position is convenient, the access to the sea is difficult, completely dark in the night, the breakfast is ok, the mattresses are old, the price is good. The ladies at the hotel were really glad and warm to us.
