Nice hotel not too far from the beach which is literally down the road. Good food with plenty of choice each day,  lovely staff who greeted us every day in the restaurant and always plenty of sun beds. 
Yes the planes are nearby but we enjoy watching them take off and land so not an issue. Some great restaurants and bars nearby if you fancy something different.
Would say more inclined for older guests so made us feel quite young at times lol and there seemed to be many who had stayed before so always a sign of a popular hotel.
Had said would like to return and have now rebooked to go back in June next year. Looking forward to re-booking a boat hire again as unfortunately had to cancel this year as the weather prevented us from going. A must do if you can to sail around in your own time.
Lovely long sandy beach to stroll along and look out for the turtles popping up - cannot wait to do this all again.

Friendly hotel and lovely staff 

Absolutely love love this hotel. Not a 5 star in terms of accomodation but the rest of the stay makes up for this. The rooms are basic, no tea/coffee making facilities, no kettle etc. However, they are spotless, cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels.
Food for us was good but we're not fussy eaters. Lunch served was often better than evening meal.Snacks are available from the fridge throughout the day, fresh fruit available also. Ice cream and drinks are also self service throughout the day.
There's always ample sun beds around the pool so no need for a 7am rush...!!!
The best thing about this hotel is the absolute amazing staff. They are all a credit to this establishment. Everyone of them are so helpful, happy, welcoming, always happy to have a chat to ensure your enjoying your stay. They honestly cannot do enough for you. 
We've been to Kalamaki 3 times now and stayed once at the hotel next door and twice now at Roseland. 
We've just booked again for 2024. 

In love with Hotel Roseland 

2nd time at this hotel and booked for next year. rooms are spotless with a great shower. Beds are very comfortable. lots of sunbeds. Food is lovely and warm. Great salads available and salad rolls and the staff are amazing so so friendly. reception staff are so helpful and booked us a taxi when we needed it. maids are so friendly and keep the place spotless cant wait to return

Amazing hotel in Kalamaki

Lovely hotel set in ideal spot for either the main strip or the beach. Staff were all brilliant,  food was good and plentiful. Rooms were excellent and well serviced by the maids. Entertainment most evenings was fine although weather dependant if windy. Would definitely recommend and we are planning to return next year.

Brilliant week for the Proud Mary 6

The hotel looked smart from the outside and was smart, clean and tidy inside. The staff are the friendliest, most polite, hard working group of people we have come across under one roof in any hotel we have visited. Well done management for your perfect choice of employees and creating a lovely atmosphere for your guests. 
The food was really good quality, tasted lovely and was varied in choice. The drinks on tap for all inclusive guests were good, the drinks from the bar were good too but the cocktails were a real let down. 
The pool area looked good but we did not spend any time around it ourselves. The noise from the planes taking off and landing from the nearby airport was honestly not a problem, so don’t be put off by the location of the hotel.
The night time entertainment went down well with the guests and there was a lot more choice if you choose to make the short walk onto the Main Street where there are many restaurants and bars with live music.
The bedrooms are adequate, storage was limited with open plan hanging space and a few shelves. The bathroom contained a toilet and had a  big walk in shower at expense of putting the wash basin outside the bathroom into the bedroom, which we found impractical and unhygienic. 
The beach was long and narrow and very crowded. The space on the sand was limited as it has to be fenced off by conservationists who were doing a great job to protect the nesting sites of the caretta caretta sea turtles. It was a lovely beach on which to walk to the next resort of Laganas and back we did it a few times, Just a heads up, if you go there, do not waste your money going to Cameo island, really! You walk over the wooden bridge pay 5 euros each to look at a few ragged pieces of cloth hanging over a tiny beach for a limited time and there wasn’t even a cafe or bar open. 
Overall I would highly recommend a stay in the Roseland Hotel if you are visiting Zante, if we ever return we would definitely stay there again.

Great little Hotel

This is a good 3* hotel, basic accommodation, but well maintained and comfortable. Staff in the bar/dining room friendly and we were made to feel welcomed. Room cleaned daily and towels changed daily. We went for 10 days last month and we were met on arrival by Jayne 'the manager'. She got me a beer before we had even checked in and kept me topped up throughout our stay. Most of the guests were elderly and were repeat visitors. Such a small hotel meant that you quickly got to know everyone. 

It is situated at the better end of the strip. The beach is wonderful and it will take a good hour to walk the length of it (and return). There is a sister hotel (Poseidon) at the far end of the beach, which meant you could break your journey for a free soft drink or coffee.

I would describe the food as basic but plentiful. You help yourself to drinks/ice cream throughout the day. Filled rolls are always available as is a very nice Pizza that is put out daily. Local drinks are fine, but next time I would bring some duty free spirits with me.

We would go back, especially if Jayne is over from Wales at the same time!

Welcomed at the Roseland.

Just returned from this wonderful hotel which was the fourth time we have stayed here. This time was for a period of three weeks. The Manager allocated the room we requested, thanks again Vicky always there to answer any questions. All the team who work within the complex are brilliant polite and friendly. I never pass comments about the food or drinks because everybody’s different we never have any problems. The hotel cleaning standards are excellent all areas. Several minutes to the beach or the main strip. Lots of good bars and restaurants to choose from. Recommend a train trip into Zante town and the mountain above.  Couples/Friends return year after year far too many to mention. I will mention Val who likes to know what property you own and how many pensions you have. In one evening she was engaged,married and divorced from Harry his four pensions was nothing compared to Dennis who owned a Villa with a swimming pool locally.  The hotel received a visit from the real Manger who visits several times a year staying weeks at a time. JAYNE from Wales will make your holiday extra special fetching your drinks all evening and telling you all about Zante. She loves talking about politics, benefits and immigrants. JAYNE is available 24/7 and you can’t miss her,manager’s badge on or not. We have heard that next year she’s not only the real manager again but has been Promoted to Entertainment Director. See you all again 2023.

Another excellent holiday

Just back from 12 days at Roseland. It's the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was spotless thanks to Monda. The staff are exceptional & so lovely. Hotel is a short walk to the beach a couple of routes by going out of the gate at the back of the hotel or another road in front of the hotel. It a stunning beach where you can walk into the sea for ages before out of your depth. The pool is good never struggled to find a sunbed or Brolly. The food is ok I am quite fussy & there was always something although I don't want to eat Feta cheese again. WiFi a bit dodgy at times. Kalamaki is a fabulous resort & we went to Tsilivi & Ages so but Kalamaki is definitely the best. Also we went to Zante on the fun train highly reccomend it. Lots of restaurants a short walk from the hotel if you want a change. It's a quiet hotel if you want lively it's not the hotel for you. Any questions please ask.

Peaceful

We arrived about 9pm and they lovely lady on Reception said leave your bags there and go and get something to eat and drink and we'll do your check in afterwards which was really welcomed after we'd had a delay. 
The hotel is spotlessly clean, all the staff are very friendly and hard working.
The food was a bit repetitive but that's OK because it was really tasty and the restaurants are all 5 minutes walk away and we would alternate between eating at hotel and eating out because they are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from.
The drinks were help yourself soft drinks, wine and beer.
From 11am until 11pm there are about 10 cocktails that you can choose from and the lovely bar lady makes them fresh for you. 
The pool is clean and never really busy, no need to put towels on sunbeds as there are plenty to go around. 
If you're going out for the day Reception can arrange a packed lunch to be made for you to pick up as long as its ordered the day before. 
Rooms were so clean and bedding fresh, the bathroom had a excellent walk in shower and clean towels every day if needed. 
The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and there is a great shop along the way to buy magazines and paper and all your beach goodies, there is also a snack bar at the beach that do amazing slush drinks gor 3 euros. 
The beach is clean and very shallow and calm waters so excellent for little kids. 2 sun loungers and an umbrella were 10 euros, we got to see a little baby turtle make its way to the sea as it got confused and hatched in the day time. 
All in all a very perfect holiday for couples, families with big kids or little kids, a truly lovely hotel.

BIG WARNING THOUGH- if you have teens who want to party in Laganas DO NOT let them takes their phones or valuables. My son had his phone stolen from his pocket and girls were getting spiked and robbed left right and centre. 

Kalimaki is safe and all bars and restaurants safe.
