Clean, tidy and everything in good order. Nice host. Sufficient parking. Elevator for transporting bags. Nice livingroom in combination with kitchen and dining table (kitchen as always missing some utensils but no problem). Great wi-fi (peace of mind for the kids). Location a few hundred meters straight down to the beach. Bed for two, sofa bed (good but still a sofa bed) for two. Quiet and nice area. Would stay here again when going to Binz.

Can recommend!

My wife and I had a 4 night stay at a one bedroom self-catering apartment within this small complex. Parking is in front of the complex and off road. Besides steps down to the apartments, there is a ramp and also usefully a lift within the building.

We were met slightly ahead of our planned arrival time by a nice lady who despite not speaking very much English managed to secure full payment off my credit card. I had also overlooked the fact that we were subject to an additional service charge which amounted to about £55 for our stay.

Our apartment was on the first floor and I have to say quite impressive. Ample space, great layout with a fairly well equipped kitchen within the open plan setting. We also had a small balcony which became useful when my wife was drying our washing. There is no washer/dryer within the apartment although we did discover a laundrette not far from our base. Also no iron.

Binz is lovely as is most of Rugen Island. This apartment was literally 3/4 minutes walk to the beach. Binz was pristine clean and architecturally very pleasant on the eye. We saw no signs of damage , graffiti etc. There are ample places for eating and drinking and we had a very pleasant stay aided by the ability to relax in our spacious apartment. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby in the form of  Edeka and Netto.

Binz also proved to be a good base for visiting nearby Putbus and Sellin which were both impressive. We did not find much to entertain us in Sassnitz though!

Our only slight criticism regarding our stay was a total absence in the appartment of any liertature in respect of both the property itself and the local area. For example, nothing about rubbish, recycling or the procedure when vacating the property. Indeed I had to ring the owner directly the morning that we were leaving to ascertain what we did with the keys etc. There is a small admin office at the complex but we never really saw anyone in there during our stay.

But do go to Binz and we would thoroughly recommend this apartment complex.

Great Base for this Lovely Part of Germany

Apartmenthaus Kleiner Falke is located about 50 meters from the sea promenade in Binz. 

We were welcomed by the owner who let us check in a couple of hours before official check-in time.

The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and had almost every technical utility (although no washing machine) you have at home.

For couples with children this is a great option.
