I actually love the idea of this hostel! I definitely think there should be more around the world, if there is i am yet to find them! Having a private room is great in a hostel for those who are a little weary of sharing a room with stragers. The room and bathrokm facilities were all very clean, staff friendly. I would stay again.I would maybe pick a top room next time due to a heavy footed person being above me but it was alright

Loved it!

I was intrigued about this hotel and it's premise, so since I just needed a safe bed in Hamburg for one night, it was worth a try.The place is easy to find but I arrived late on a Monday night and the area around it was a little crazy, so would I feel safe at night here, maybe 75%. Definitely not in the most attractive/safe area of Hamburg but it's within walking distance of Hamburg HBF so hey it's cool.The room is small just like you are shown but it's comfy. I do wish there was a little extra space for your stuff- if you have more than a backpack, it's gonna be tight. Noise control is great- you don't hear a peep out of any of the other capsules. There's no way to have an overview of the 4 stories unless you explore though, which is sad because they offer self-check-in but then you are kind of left to figure it out. First timers, check in at the desk.The robe I was provided was too small but PLEASE just ask the front desk for a bigger size. The bathrooms on the ground level where I was were ridiculously dark which makes you feel like it's kind sketch. The shared shower facilities are really nice though- minimalistic but definitely all you need.I would stay here again as long as I'm not hanging around there- the room is really small and hanging out there would probably feel cramped. Great place if you're solo,. only need a bed and not much else.

Great place to lay your head for the night!

I　don't like not spacy, and also I don't like shared toilet and shower. I think this acomodation price isn't affordable.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at CAB20, it was a nice modern, clean hotel with surprisingly good shower opportunities. And it's maybe here I would like to give my highest praise. It was my first time booking a stay without a private bathrom, and my partner and I were a bit concerned about cleanliness and quantity of showers. To our pleasant suprise the showers were of good size (no claustrofobic feeling) and even had a bench and hooks for hanging the towel. I didn't really count the showers but if I had to guess there were about 20 showers per locker room, and there was in total two locker room divided by gender, one for each. I can only speak from my own short experience, but when I was there the showers were never fully occupied, there was me and max 3 other persons. So I never had to worry about having to wait or not being able to shower.As for the room it was small, but that were to be expected. Was pretty good sound isolation but you could still hear some of the sound playing from the radio out in the corridor. But it seems they turned off the music at night, or atleast turned the music down so it was inaudiable. Also couldn't hear any of the neighbours even tough we had one right on top of us. We also were lucky by having our room right by the communal toilet. It was small, dimly lit but clean. Was never any line to the toilet luckly even tough there was only two stalls in it.All in all a great stay.

It's my fault for missing this in the property description but the room you stay in is tiny. Barely room for your bags and when you lay in bed the ceiling is very low because there is a cabin above you. As someone who is extremely claustrophobic, this was not a good place for me stay. It was very clean though and thankfully we were only there for one night.

The cabin was compact and comfortable as expected. The toilets were located on the same floor and the showers in the basement, both well thought out, clean and sufficient.The temperature in the cabin was a little too hot, and I could not find a way to adjust it - but apart from that it provided all I needed for a good nights sleep.The area around CAB20 seemed a little random, not too far from Hamburg HBF. I did eat at CAB20 in the evening, but the food was not that impressive, so if I returned I would probably find somewhere else to eat.
