Hotel garni Am Brunnenplatz

The approach to the main entrance hotel is not promising, requiring you to walk up the ramp of a multi-storey car park. Don't be put off, however; once inside, we were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very helpful, providing us with useful information about the town and voucher booklets to several attractions. The room was huge and very nice, with well-worn but comfortable furnishings, a big bathroom and a wonderful view of the mountains overlooking the town. Breakfast in the mornings was lovely, with fried or scrambled eggs cooked to order and a wide variety of buffet foods on offer. In the evenings a variety of drinks are available from the bar at surprisingly reasonable prices. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again next time we pass through Gerolstein.
