My 3rd visit to Afroco and by far the best self catering accommodation i have stayed at whilst in The Gambia. Neil has a good generator that allows lights, TV etc. to be used when the power is off (the power situation was definitely worse this trip). Gas stove facilities allow cooking and water to be heated and an under counter fridge is also standard in all rooms. Ceiling fan available when mains electricity on and large wall mounted fan when generator in use. Staff are lovely and are there if you need them but do not intrude. Supermarket within a 5 minute walk, good local places to eat nearby and not far from the "turntable". Less than a minute's walk to the main road and taxi's easy to hail.
