The previous reviews about the hotel and host are spot on. James welcomed us as we arrived, showed us to our room and gave us so much useful information. He recommended local restaurants, places of interest to visit and routes to take. Breakfast was fresh and outstanding and our host was on hand to chat over the table. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable. The surroundings are peaceful and we slept incredibly well. Thank you James. We loved your home and Normandy and will be back very soon.

Peaceful, beautiful and welcoming

Friends booked this place for a few days as a base to see Dieppe and the surrounding area with my son and I joining them.

Set back from the road with the River Scie running beside it and chickens running around the grounds, the house is lovely. 

We arrived quite early following our drive to St Aubin sur Scie. The owner James advised that the rooms were not yet ready and directed us to a nearby restaurant,  where we had a nice, relaxing meal.

On return to the house, the rooms were available a little earlier than advertised,  which allowed us to rest after a long day, thank you James.

Our room was stunning, the asoect was great, the decor was nice and we had access to a small terrace to have a drink. 

The continental breakfast served consisted of various types of fresh bread, croissants, homemade jam, honey and yoghurt, all of which was readily consumed.

The owner James was a fabulous host, making you feel welcomed at all times, answering any questions and ensuring your stay was comfortable. 

Would recommend this as a place to stay if you're ever wanting to visit Dieppe and the area around. 

Extremely enjoyable experience. 

Great Place to Stay With the Nicest Host

Fantastic B&B, situated in a beautiful old Villa next to an old Mill. The house is set in lovely grounds with chickens and ducks roaming.
Rooms are comfy, cosy and stunningly decorated & furnished. Breakfast is a really nice continental, with homemade breads, jams, yogurts and fresh eggs form the chickens.
Jeremy the owner is super nice and makes you feel welcome and at home. He is fluent in English, actually he speaks better English than me.
It’s only a few mins drive or a short cycle from Dieppe.  I would recommend staying here rather than in busy Dieppe.
There is a nice bar & restaurant a15 min walk away from the B&B, and a lovely walk on a disused railway line a stones throw away.

Best B&B ever

Peaceful, charming and full of character. What a beautiful find set by a small rivulet just eight miles from Dieppe.  Spotless rooms. The breakfast was a feast of homemade produce, it was delicious. James, the host, was brilliant. He spoke perfect English and was really helpful.  I would go back if I’m in that area again and I would definitely recommend this fabulous place to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Perfect in every way

We stayed in this gorgeous house with lots of character. Our room was on the first floor with a balcony. It was absolutely spotless and James was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. Free parking and a short 10 minute drive to a lovely beach with several restaurants. It’s an ideal spot to stay before getting the ferry back from Dieppe. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, such a good choice with homemade bread and jams. The tea was great too! I highly recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful B n B

Free parking on site, cozy but a little small bedroom, superb breakfast and very nice host. 
Truly enjoyable albeit a bit far from any bigger town. Very good value for money which is something rare in France.

Stayed with my brother and dad. Older house with a lot of character. Very comfortable rooms. Very clean. Nice hearty breakfast. Host James is very nice and informative. Very close to Dieppe. I would recommend to family and friends.

Very charming BnB near Dieppe

This is a fine old house full of character: a particular feature is the garden which is full of ducks and chickens!
We had chosen an attic room on the second floor but on our next visit we’ll go for a first floor room. 
It’s a very quiet location with plenty of parking: restaurants are within a few minutes drive (there is nothing in the village) and Dieppe centre is only 10 minutes away.  It is ideally placed with easy access to Rouen and routes to the south. 
James is a charming host and provides a pleasant breakfast with homemade jams etc..
We look forward to our next visit. 

Enjoyable Visit

James, our host was kind enough to go with my mediocre French but in fact speaks excellent English. He was very welcoming despite our late arrival and we got the impression that he can't do enough for his guests.
Our room on the first floor was spacious, well decorated, warm and comfortable with WiFi, TV, Coffee and Tea provided free. There was an excellent en-suite with proper full-size bottles of shampoo etc - none of those horrible little sachets.
Breakfast in the morning was French with seemingly unlimited supplies of fresh bread, croissants, spreads, cold meats, cheeses, etc and lashings of good coffee.
We will definitely be back whenever we are in the area.

Friendly, comfortable and beautiful

We arrived at Villa Mon Repos after a *very* long day's driving. James was a true gent, showing us up to our room, being very helpful and charming. The house, gardens and rooms are truly unique - a hidden treasure, just a couple of miles outside Dieppe but a wonderland of interesting artwork and beautifully decorated and maintained spaces. James provided a sumptuous breakfast in the morning and we both very much enjoyed meeting him. Believe the reviews - this is a uniquely wonderful place to stay! 6 stars, for sure. Thank you James.
