It’s OK, the place is a little tired. Excellent central location but needs a fortune thrown at it to be as nice as hotels a bit further out of town. Old building turned into a motor racing themed hotel literally 5 minutes from the centre of Rouen. The plumbing is hilariously bad, the bathroom was a bit mouldy. 5/10 for cleanliness but the bed was nice and the linen crisp. Breakfast is €12. Parking off road is €13 but you get a secure lock up.

Great location….

Having read some good reviews of this hotel, we booked for a one night stay.  I can only imagine that we got a particularly bad room or the place has gone severely downhill since the other reviews were written.  We received a message to say we could get in to the hotel at 2pm but it only opens 4 hours a day, so we were given a code to enter and retrieve our keys from an envelope at reception.  This is fine, but we had booked to garage a car and as the hotel was closed, we had to go and find parking while we waited.  On gaining entry to the garage, it was so small that we could not get our car in it anyway and had to again go and find parking.  The room was so small that there was only around 8in at one side of the bed.  The toilet was disgusting, as was the toilet brush, the bathroom window glass developed ice overnight .....on the inside! the hallway was painted a disgusting shade of something dark so there was no light as there was no light fitting and one of the only two plugs in the room had to be put in to a socket at the door so when you opened the door the cable was banged by it.  The other socket plus an adaptor was accommodating the tv and a box.  Electrics are not good in this place with a bunch of wires curled up and left hanging in the bathroom.  The desk top was chipped and looked awaful.  The room was booked for two people but we got one cup, one small and one medium towel...not sure how that works.  We had 13 hotel stays on this trip and this was by far the worst of all the properties we stayed at. I attach photos for your delectation. It is just grim.

IT IS JUST GRIM

Clean, quiet and friendly, close to the station.  We really liked this place with a race car theme.  Nice sized rooms, too.  Our only problem was the breakfast was a little lacking (we like eggs or some other protein—yoghurt isn’t enough).  And because it’s a bit out of the way, it’s a good 10 min walk to a decent breakfast cafe (see Cafe Love, also reviewed).  But the price is good at Hotel Celine, there is parking if you have a car and it is quiet.

Great place, close to the Gare

Second stay at Hotel Celine.  When restaurants closed in Rouen for Coronavirus, Laure offered me the delicious lunch she had prepared for her family.  My room was clean, quiet, spacious, warm and new.  Like my home, only better.

Stayed one night .. can only say it was relatively cheap .. definitely tired and basic 
Staff were helpful only plus point . No parking had to park at train station and drag the luggage up two hills .. 


No better than basic

Really nice little hotel, reasonably basic but hugely friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and a pleasant breakfast and parking on the street outside. Really well priced just don't expect the uniform sheen of a large chain. No lift so if you have mobility issues best tell them but the stairs are aren't steep and there are are only 3 floors so most people should be fine. Decor is unusual in places but we thought that added to the charm. Rouen is lovely btw and the hotel is about 15 mins walk from the center and the Cathedral and a handy stop off when travelling south. We will be back. 

Great value friendly hotel 

This is nice hotel (the hotel manager was very nice and helpful) that has very convenient access to/from the Gare de Rouen train station and really isn't far from the main parts of town (the Cathedral de Rouen, etc.).

It's an older hotel, but solid for the price and location. 
We stayed on the third floor, and while it's a bit of a hike, the room was nice.

Nice staff and quick access to the train station

We've spent 1 night here with two kids in a family room on the top floor. The room was not very clean and everything look old. The position was ok and the price of 100 eur for one night ok. We didn't experienced the breakfast
