Our rooms were clean & comfortable, but the toilets & showers were in portaloo type constructions which were very basic & restrictive. We had a 34 euro evening meal which was nicely presented & tasty but servings very small. In comparable restaurants we would have had both a cheese & dessert course for less than this money. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice & the lady serving it absolutely charming.

Not the best!

very nice hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the beach. Nice rea for walks. Parking right next to the hotel. Stuff so friendly and nice. Rooms are very cozy, the bed was so comfy. Breakfest veeeeery nice and yammy :-) Only funny thing is the bathroom, its like shell put in wall and it was OK. I very recommend this hotel to anybody - for couples, for familys, for business trips.....

So sweet, so French

We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 13. As always rooms in French hotels are basic and without tea making facilities. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was pricey but excellent, all home made and it was obvious that a great deal of time had been spent in its preparation. The location is surrounded by good beaches and the area is good for cycling and walking. Many good cafes etc serving excellent sea food. We will certainly stay here again.

Great Service

We stayed here as part of a split holiday with a week exploring parts of France then a week in Confolens.  We did not know what to expect but when we arrived the hotel was easy to find and well placed for access to the beach and the places to grab a bite to eat or a drink.  Parking was not a problem and our room was excellent and was split into a room for my wife and I with lovely big windows and the kids had their own room.  The decor was really nice however the bathroom is a bit quirky to say the least as it is more like a caravan bathroom but it was clean and served its purpose.  The staff are really helpful and the area where we stayed was lovely and we will certainly be back and would  look to stay for longer.

we stayed here on an overnight trip on our way down to the Ile de Re  - very good value rooms   - comfortable and pleasant  ( bathrooms very small but functional) and lovely dining room with great food.  Best of all only 10mins walk from the beach so were able to have our first swim of the holiday. Only downside is that they forgot our dinner booking  -  - but they fitted us in anyway.

very good value and excellent food

We stayed here for one night as a stop over and thought it was very good value.  It is a small, pretty, friendly hotel, the rooms are decorated very nicely and the breakfast was excellent - very fresh, the best breakfast we've had in France.
We had an interconnecting room for our children, unfortunately both rooms had a double bed, so our 6 and 10 year old had to share a bed which they didn't appreciate.  I can't fault the hotel for the price, it was excellent.  We would stay here again, but ensure that the room for the kids had twin beds!
