A very basic hotel with the interior of a cabin in the mountains. But absolutely perfect location in the heart of Etretat, and very cheap. We also had a decent meal here. You get what you pay for, strange to see so many mediocre reviews. It’s no Faulty towers.

Very friendly staff, quirky rooms made of wood, perfectly located at the center of Etretat - it is as good as it gets for a 2-star hotel
My friend and I stayed 1 night and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay for a weekend !

The hotel for the price is good, very well located and clean. The only problem is that it is necessary to do the check in until 22:00, if you arrive after you will see the door closed and you are not able to enter.

Perfect location, good value

Perfect for a short weekend in Étretat

Nice price for what you get

The communication with this hotel was not very good at all. Again the problem with speaking English. I ask questions in English and get French replies. Sorry, but if you work in a hotel in a tourist place you need to know some English.
The hotel unfortunately did not inform us that on the day of our arrival the whole town center, were the hotel is located, will be closed off due to a festival. I had specifically asked about parking and was told that close to the hotel there is public parking available. We had to park outside of the town by the road site. Sorry, but for me this just horrible service! When we finally made our way to the hotel it wasn't really clear to us where the check in was since the bottom floor is a restaurant. My question, where we can check into the hotel was answered with 'which hotel?' which i thought was odd. We were send away to come back at 4 to check in, I had requested an early check in which way left unanswered, so yes, horrible communication. When it was finally time to check in, the girl I spoke to earlier in perfect English all of a sudden only spoke French with me, absolutely no meeting in the middle, so I spoke German, I can be stubborn too. The room itself was nice, ok for a night or two, we did not have breakfast there so I can't say anything about that. When we wanted to check out in the morning noone was there, no drop off box, nothing so we just left the key in the room. Would have been nice to be informed about the Procedere the night before. Oh well, we won't come back, just a bad experience on our end. 

Not the best service 

This was our last stop for one night the end of our motorbike tour of Europe, the hotel was more of a 'restaurant with rooms' but the staff were very friendly on arrival.  The room slightly resembled being inside a sauna with all the wood panelling, it had a small balcony and was a great location for exploring.

Well located, slightly quirky!

Etretat is beautiful, I totally recommend it, but I do recommend this place. They do not have a dedicated hotel staff so you're always fighting against the bar/restaurant if you want t get something done. There's no sound proofing in the rooms, the toilet is tiny and the shower takes an age to heat up. Also when you arrive, sorting out parking is a nightmare.

Location great, room not!

WORST SERVICE VER! I booked a stay for 3 night. On my arrival day I was stucked in traffic jam so I called the property to say that I will arrive after midnight. The property said it is not possible as they close before midnight, so I should find another hotel for my first night but I will pay only for 2 not 3 nights. I found another hotel for 1 night and then arrive to this property. However, when I checked out I was charged for 3 nights and they refused to acknowledge my phone arrangement about paying for 2 nights. I am very disappointed as I was lied to and their service is below any acceptable level!!!
