Les 3 Rivières

We spent a wonderful week at Les 3 Rivieres campsite. We rented a mobile home which was of an excellent standard: clean, comfortable and modern. The campsite is small and quiet so is particularly well suited to families with very young children or adults wishing to relax. Fresh bread and pastries were available to order each day. The campsite is situated between the village of Tierceville and the small town of Creully which is a short 10 minute walk away. I thoroughly recommend the walk through the park into Creully where you can visit the Chateau de Creully and the radio museum where the BBC set up operations just days after the Normandy landings. Creully has a very interesting history, particularly if you are interested in the D Day landings. We also visited the landing beaches at Arromanches and the WW2 Memorial museum in Bayeux as well as the tapestry. There are so many things to do in the region and the campsite is in an excellent location. I cannot recommend this campsite enough! We are definitely hoping to return next year.
