Booked this for my parents - they were completely delighted. The place itself is so beautiful and charming, made with love and all the attention to every single detail. But most importantly, they were impressed with the warmest welcome from the hosts and their ongoing care and support. Again and again THANK YOU Chantal. We were blessed to have you.

Unique charming place and amazing hosts

We stayed for one night while passing through the area and it was great.  We were able to walk in the area along La Moselle river in the evening and awoke to an excellent breakfast,  A warm welcome and excellent hospitality throughout the stay made it worth a 5 star review.

Excellent Stay

Les Chambres de la Maxe is a great location for a short stay. The hostess is a great lady. The accomodation is located in a quite and small village. If you're there by car, then it's not a problem. 

The breakfast is great - fresh fruit and a wide variaty of bread, eggs, etc.

Great accomodation

We stayed here for one night returning to the UK from the Dolomites. The apartment was ideal - a good size and very well equipped.  Lovely terrace area.  Chantel was a great host and is very interesting to chat to (her English is excellent). If you're lucky enough to get chocolate cake for breakfast then you're in for a treat!

Excellent overnight stay

My family and I stayed in La Maxe for 6 nights over the last couple of weeks while we were visiting the area.  Chantel, the owner, is a perfect hostess!  Our second floor apartment was immaculately clean.  Each morning she served us breakfast in her dining room.  It was delicious with homemade pastries and breads.  She always included a local fruit or specialty.  She was also very informative with us and other guests about the local area. We truly enjoyed our time there and hope to be able to visit again the future!

A Wonderful Stay!

My boyfriend and I booked a room for one night to avoid the hotels in the busy city centre of Metz. We were most surprised by the room. While not the biggest, the decoration of the room is very practical and extremely tasteful, also with a very nice shower. Our room had a very nice terrace, ideal to sip wine in the evening sun. Metz is only a 10 minutes drive. Chantal was very helpful in giving us tips what to visit and where to eat. We are still thankful for the tip to visit the laser show which was most excellent, just like the room. The only downside: we stayed there only one night. 

Pour les francophones, je peux vous conseiller vivement cette chambre d hote. Metz est tres proche. Madame Chantal est tres chaleureux et vous aide bien a trouver les meilleurs sites a Metz.
