JC was welcoming from the moment of our arrival till we left the next day. He helped guide our car into the private area which is secured behind a gate, although i would have had no problem parking on the street as the property is in a very residential area. After showing us to our room he offered advice for some suggested locations to eat. The room was as you would expect, with beds that are quite soft. There's a balcony to sit out on. We were advised about mosquitoes but we're given a repellent to use in the room. There was also a fan provided which helped to keep the room cool as we had to shut the balcony door. The facilities were great with an en suite bathroom. Contrary to other comments, although there isn't a door, there is a heavy curtain which acts as a door to the bathroom. The location is a bit out of the way but there are some restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. We weren't looking for anything fancy so we ate at a local venue for something quick and easy. Breakfast was included and we were given a selection of pastries, home made preserves, juice tea and coffee. Overall a great stay and very good value. Lovely host and family to stay with.
