Although not close to the centre of Dijon about half hour walk, this B&B offers great accomodation in a lovely setting it seems like been in the french countryside. The hosts are amazing and the fresh breakfast so great

Lovely hosts

We loved thee Marcs d'Or from the moment we arrived. The staff were warm and welcoming and the room we stayed in was absolutely charming. We couldn't believe that the large living room, bedroom and bathroom were all for us! The breakfast was the best we had during our 8 day stay in France and they were vegetarian friendly. 

Best of all, I stupidly left my passport and money underneath my pillow. By the time I realised I was 400km away and rather panicked! Ludovic was very kind and couriered my passport and money to a friend in France the next day. I can't thank them enough for a fantastic stay and being so kind and efficient with returning my belongings. Thank you!

Fantastic visit and wonderful people

We stayed one night in the downstairs suite. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing and very pleasurable stay. The garden is delightful. Ludovic greeted us on arrival and advised us where to park in Dijon, places to visit and where to eat locally. The following morning, the charming Chantal served a delicious breakfast. We would definitely book again if coming this way on our travels. Such a refreshing change from a large hotel!

Beautiful, traditional French house

We make our first trip to Dijon and stayed at this delightful venue. It was all very last minute due to a change in plans on our part. Ludovic answered our questions on parking very quickly (there is off street parking) and Chantal greeted us and showed us around. The room we stayed in (upstairs overlooking the garden) was lovely. Perfectly arranged and beautifully decorated. We knew from previous reviews that this venue was a little way out of town, but it really is an easy walk into the centre of Dijon. (40 comfortable minutes). Prior to our walk Chantal took us through a map and made suggestions for dinner depending on our style and budget. We had a lovely time in Dijon, a really lovely city.  This B&B is really lovely, breakfast is amazing and Chantal is delightful . We think that this could be our new stop off en route to Italy which we visit often. 

Perfect place to explore Dijon 

We stayed two nights with Ludovic, breaking our journey to and from the South. The first night was at the Marc D'Or and the second at one of his flats in town. Both were comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped, and he was an excellent host - helpful, very charming and always swift to reply to emails. The breakfast was also lovely at the Marc D'Or, served on the terrace in the beautiful walled garden. I would really recommend any of his properties, and Dijon is a lovely city to explore.

Lovely find and great host

We stayed for two separate nights on the way down to and back from Drome Provence, We cannot praise Ludovic, Chantal, and Olivier enough for their welcome and hospitality! The house and gardens are so beautiful and rooms spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is a real feast - what a selection! The croissants and breads all scrumptious! We look forward to visiting again and hope to stay longer next time.

A secret garden and beautiful place to stay!

We stayed two nights at the Marcs d'Or. The B&B is conveniently located about 2 km from center of Dijon and it touches a parc and a lovely countryside (if you like to jog, cycle or walk, don't forget your equipment).
Our host was very attentive and delivered good advice.
Rooms really beautifully decorated, clean and quiet.
