Stunning accomodation, fantastic location to visit all the D'day historic sites plus beautiful Bayeaux. Our host was amazing, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was truly exceptional. The property is beautifully decorated and is spotless. The breakfast is totally amazing with such a variety of homemade goods, plus local produce. Cannot recommend enough

Just sublime....An amazing medieval renovated property located a 10 minute drive into Bayeux. We stopped off here for a couple of nights and could have stayed for a week. Spacious spotless rooms, tons of character, off the beaten track enough to be really quiet and in a beautiful location. Great locally sourced/home made breakfast prepared by the perfect hostess  Walkyrie. Lovely to see the animals roaming around - Charlie the dog and a couple of peacocks may join you for breakfast! Just to give you an idea of Walkyries attention to detail - my wife mentioned she had a nut allergy at breakfast and when we came back later in the day the almond soap in our bedroom had been replaced with a lemon one. Valkyrie didn't mention it but we saw it. That would never happen anywhere else!

Absolutely delightful place to stay!  Spacious room, marvelous breakfasts, and Walkyrie, a most charming hostess.  We were here 3 nights, and she was always ready with suggestions and so very welcoming.  Plus, the building itself, 15th century with very think walls, ensures a quiet night’s sleep!  A very special place and we would happily return!!

Le Manoir is a very interesting medieval building which has been lovingly restored to its present glory.  There are only 2 rooms on offer so very quiet and in the middle of the countryside surrounded by fields.   Our room was beautiful and large with views over the fields.  The bed and bed linen were so comfortable and  the ensuite  shower and separate loo were cleverly incorporated without disturbing the historic character of the space.  There was a table & chairs with everything you needed for tea or coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.  The room is on the first floor but  accessed by a medieval spiral stone staircase so not for those with mobility issues.  The continental breakfast was just amazing, the best we had in France on our holiday! Everything laid out so prettily and excellent quality produce including breakfast specialities of Brittany.  The Manoir does not provide evening meals so it was a 5 mile drive to Bayeux in the evenings to eat but lots of good restaurants on offer.

We highly recommend Le Manoir du Pont Senot! Location is in the countryside, so peaceful and quiet, but 15 minutes to Bayeux. My husband and I spent three nights in Walkyrie's home, which is beautifully restored and exquisitely decorated. Their home retains the charm of centuries old architecture, but updated with incredibly great taste. We were simply taken by the warmth and charm of their home. Walkyrie is a darling gal who makes her guests feel so welcome. She loves to provide her guests a hearty breakfast with cheeses and eggs from neighbors and pastries from her kitchen. Best breakfast we have had in a B&B. We were honestly sad to leave, we could have stayed forever. Thank-you to Walkyrie and her family for so graciously inviting us into their home!  We hope to return. J&S

Beautiful B&B very close to Bayeux and a short drive to the Normandy Beaches.  This beautifully renovated home is well decorated and clean,  and our room was lovely with an updated bathroom.  The hostess, Walkyrie, was so sweet and welcoming and her English was quite good (which was a good thing for us as we speak no French except for Merci).  The breakfast was amazing, fresh baked croissants, homemade jellies and jams, danish, yogurt and fresh fruit and eggs upon request.  We only had one night to stay here as we were on a cruise ship with an overnight stay in Le Havre so our time was limited.  If we are able to return to France again we would definitely return to this charming home.  We stayed here in June 2019.

The place is an old, beautifully renovated farm house close to Bayeux. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean but best of all was the host Valquiry. She was so welcoming and happy to help and gave us lots of information. The breakfast she prepared each morning was fantastic, very local and made us the day. We stayed there for 4 nights, explored Normandy everyday in a different direction and it was great. Sorry we couldn't stay more

This was just a phenomenal place to stay. Very close to Bayeux but in very tranquil location slightly off the road to Bayeux. Restored farmhouse / chateau. Had an ancient spiral stone staircase to very expansive first floor room with updated bathroom/shower.  The room overlooked a lovely farmland vista with horses,cows and a donkey. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and provided helpful local information. Finally, the breakfast was the best I have experienced in years. There was a great variety, especially of home cooked Breda and pastries. My very highest recommendation.

Beautiful place and wonderful host.  Nothing is too much trouble.  Very comfortable room and lots of homemade things for breakfast.  Lovely part of the countryside.  Would definitely stay here again.  Horses and a donkey in the field.  Lovely cat and dog.

10 minutes from the centre of Bayeux and 30 minutes from Caen ferry port.
We could not have picked a better place for our 3 night stay exploring the area which is extremely interesting with the tapestry, medieval town and the D-Day memorials.
