They lost our reservation made on 29th January 29th for one night, from 13th of July to 14th for a total of €50. Not only they lose our reservation but it was not enough to show the payment receipt, the owner who never showed up but only spoke on the phone, did not believe we had booked!! And the structure in which we were reinserted there is cost 125€!!! We lost 4 hours to find a solution and we lost the first 3 hours of the Festival thet we wanted to see! In addition to the damage also the mockery. Never again!!! No Words!!!!!

Never again!!!

First the good things: Very close to the beautiful lake Bourget (but on the wrong side of the road),  the lake is visible and one block away. The hotel is a renovated, single house on the edge of Aix-les-Bains. The restaurant attracts the beautiful young people of the area. Artistically nicely decorated in a mix of Hippy/Heavy Metal/Punk style. The rooms are very small but nicely, arty decorated. The bad: If you don't intend to participate in the music (DJ) activities in the restaurant till 1:30h in the morning, the continuous "boum-boum" will not let you sleep. Add another hour for the guests to finish partying in the parking lot. By then one has gotten used to the soft, uneven matress. The morning brings another unpleasant surprise: the small bathroom contains a miniscule shower. If your waist is more than 44, the 14 1/4inch opening will not let you enter the shower. If inside, the controls are so badly located that the movement to wash the back will turn off the water.
We also ate at the restaurant. The food was well prepared, the burger was well done but it was expensive for the size of the portions and more Manhattan prices than NE France.

Avoid! Unless...

Food in the restaurant was good and the rooms small, but funky, but at weekends it is the local night club with unbelievably loud music. The floor of my room was actually vibrating! It finally stopped after 2am after several complaints to the receptionist/barman. However it started up again quite loudly for the cleaners at 8am. Only worth staying there if you are going to be downstairs partying until closing time. Anyone looking for a quiet hotel and a good nights sleep would do well to avoid this place.

Friendly and helpful reception, funky room, very clean. Great food in the restaurant......then I went to bed... to try to sleep.

I was in room 1 on the top floor. I came here to sleep, NOT to listen to music on a Sunday night until 01.00 in the morning. Then at 05.00 disturbed again by what sounded like furniture being moved downstairs.

The hotel needs to decide whether it is a place for sleep or sleep deprivation.
