My husband and I booked to stay in these cabins inb March so we could see the northern lights. We booked one that accommodates 5 people so we would have plenty of room. When we arrived we were very disappointed with it , there was only one bedroom with a double bed and three single beds in the living area., leaving you no room to sit . Having said that they are very clean but not very well equipped, certainly not enough for the supposed 5 people . Very sorry but would not book again

Avoid this hotel. We had terrible experience. The room was totally dirty. Bed sheets were never changed. The service is terrible, and even with the expensive price (in comparison to another hotels at the same area), we needed to pay for the towels. There is no heating inside the room. I had allergies due the bad conditions inside the room. I recommend for travellers to avoid this Hotel.

Cool camp site with cozy cabins ! A perfect place to spot aurora during winter time. Modern sauna in the cabin ! The staff is kind enough to wake you up in the middle of the night to spot aurora ! A 20 mins walk to get to the city center

This is a very honest review... stayed 9th-14th Feb - 5 females in a detached cabin/lodge. It had 1 double bedroom and 3 single beds/sofa's in lounge area which also had a small flat screen TV (Which we didn't use) - kitchen/dining area which had the usual cooker/microwave/fridge-freezer/kettle and various pots pans crockery and cutlery - the only thing we thought was missing was no grill in oven so a toaster would be useful. You can hire bed linen & towels or take your own... we hired and it was €5 each for 4 nights. The bathroom also incorperated a sauna.
The cabin was very clean as was the bed linen and towels supplied... Although not top spec it is very homely and comfortable. constant hot water and sauna lovely after being out in the snow all day..Location is excellent close to kittila airport and close to supermarkets. We had a fantastic time and would recommend going on a snowmobile & husky safari, visiting the snow village/ Ice Hotel and Yllas Fell.

No complaints

This place is something else. We were here in caravan but it was the first and last time. The surroundings are old and no repairs has done in years.  Grass is long in caravan spots, showers and wc moldy and dirty. There was also weird and loud people in grill spot at night that wasent camping there.. The sauna was 15 euros per an hour! Really?! No way. Avoid this place. The reception dont speak finish.

Avoid if possible

Everything else. Honestly, that was the worst hotel/hostel/camping I have ever seen. (And believe me, I know what I'm talking about - I'm from Russia). We were supposed to stay just one night and next day continue our way (came from camping in Kilpisjärvi and were coming back to our summer cottage/mökki in Kuusamo - this information is just to show that we are not "city" people, we love to travel and be close to nature as we can be and live camping life). The only reason why we chose this place - price. It was 50 euro per one night (two people). Other places were a bit more expensive and we just needed a place for sleeping. I saw on the description that there is no towels and that is extra money, but well, we didn't need towels. In fact, that there is just nothing. They are charging extra 10 euro per set of bedding (sheets, etc). Price fastly became 70, what was already more expensive than some other places, but too late. With best hopes we went to our cottage. Ok, cute, looks nice outside. And then we opened the door. I can't even describe smell - musty smell of basement, mild and dampness. It was dark - lamp didn't give any light so as small and only window. Really dirty window. And than there is a bathroom, door can't be locked, someone's hair on toilet and sink, dirty bottle is soap (of course used). We don't have a bathroom in mökki, only sauna and wooden toilet outside (you know, with whole and nothing else), but in that exact moment I was dreaming about it, because despite of all facts - IT IS AT LEAST CLEAN! The next is small kitchen, and again - totally dirty. I'm not even talking about fridge, we closed it as soon as opened. But the most important I left for the end - beds. Or better to say one bunk bed. It was a total disgust. Mattresses are dirty, all in spots. The same were blankets. And actually bedding, for which they charged 10 euro, just reminding. The only reason why didn't run away - 70 (70!!!) euro we payed. I'm writing this review half a year after that night and I'm still disgusted. We couldn't sleep the whole night: clothes and hood on because of dirtiness, smell and coldness. The only plus - we couldn't sleep and thus went away from there about 4-5 a.m. just to forget about this nightmare. Location was okay, close to Levi if you have car, close to river, looking "nice" outside. And about owners who don't speak english -I can't say they speak good finnish as well. My husband is a finn and he coudn't understand them at all, so I had to speak russian with them.
