A very basic and somewhat outdated hotel in the center of Joensuu. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful & flexible, breakfast was good and the location was perfect.
The lobby and restaurant seem to be refurbished but the rooms were outdated but clean. The lack of lightning somewhat annoyed me; the room was quite dark and there were no reading lights by the beds. A desk lamp on a table between the beds do not count as a reading light.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the burgers were quite good. 
All in all I would book a room from Hotel Aada again; the quality-price ratio was good.

Very basic, good location

Pros: 
- great location in the heart of Joensuu
- very reasonable price
- ok breakfast included

Cons:
- very ascetic room
- old fashioned interiors, like taking a time machine back to 80's, even 70's
- beds quite soft to my taste
- sounds from the corridors easily audible

If you only want to stop for a overnight sleep and breakfast, Aada is ok. 

A time machine trip

Ok hotel, right in the centre of Joensuu. Nothing outstanding, but comfortable room. Personnel nice and helpful. Very good breakfast, in particular the homemade meatballs and fruit salad of fresh fruit.

Weekend trip to Joensuu

The sounds from the hallways and other rooms were really loud and we couldn't sleep. Breakfast was okay. There were no parking spots so we had to find s spot and pay for it. Room was clean but still being cleaned after check-in time.

Very noisy

We stayed 2 nights at Aada hotel. The hotel builing was not perhaps up-to-date, eg no airconditioning, a bit worn out feeling. But serivice was excellent. Staff at the front desk polite and ready help. Breakfast very good. They even opened the full brakfast buffet 30 min earlier for us because we had to leave early. We had a dinner at hotel restaurant on our arrival evening - I asked for glutein free meal - and suprise, the breakfast cook had repaired me a glutein free breakfast without me asking!
We also find the location good, waling distance to the city main street. Despite taht, no problems in parking.

Hotel which service was suprisign good

Nice breakfast.Nice service.Very clean.Thin walls,noises from other rooms disturb sleeping.No mini-fridge in the room.Poor airconditioning,the air felt very "thick" in the morning. Location ok,but no parking space next to hotel.
