The breathtaking view is what caught my attention, sunrise and sunset while enjoying the boat ride, and the colorful trees planted surrounding the lake, the Yerer mountain view by the lake, it's just beautiful. But the food and other services don't expect much in a small towns, or you'll be disappointed. I have stayed in almost all the resorts in Bishoftu, hospitality service wise; Adulala and Lake Bishoftu are better without a doubt!!

Full package in one place. I enjoyed my stay, the walk side by the water is so comforting, so peaceful and quite, the water view from my room was breathtaking and the sunrise was perfect in the morning. The place is so alive during the day time, at evening, so early it gets so quite and a bit scary, I guess it's the locals who gives the place a light, anyhow I love it, I will definitely come back soon.

Full package in one place. 

I stayed at Adulala with my family and we were well taken care of by all the staff at all the levels. At the restaurant they do everything they could to fulfill our needs. We feel like home.
At the steam, the sauna and swimming pool, all the staff were cooperative and friendly.

Friendly and kind hospitality

I had business meeting and stayed for one night. The overall service seem fair, the food is good and the room is also fine but the bathroom is too old and all the bathroom materials are too old and too dirty. 

My experience during my stay 

I stayed in this resort for one night with my children at the beginning of the year 2021. The resort has nice clean rooms and plus we were given a connecting room. There is running hot water in the showers too. The resort is still under construction but once completed has great potential. We visited the children amusement park and went down to the lake side for our evening. We enjoyed taking the winding nature walk down to the lake and sitting on the boats. We went to the restaurant at the top view for our dinner but were a bit disappointed by the food. The staff really tried to be helpful but the meal was not just good. Our accompanying driver though enjoyed the "fasting pizza" that he ordered. The resort was very active during our visit with lots of bridal parties so we were unable to ride out in the boats and we hope we will in a next visit. A nice place to relax over the weekends.

Good resort to visit out of town of Addis

Adulala was my second choice after my preferred resort was fully booked.
We were met by friendly and helpful staff at check-in.
The room was spacious and clean with hot running water, which is very uncommon this part of the world.
The only problem was when we had to go to the restaurant as we were very hungry, the location of the restaurant is very nice with a lake view but unfortunately it was very dirty. All the table were dirty and there was no attempt from staff in the restaurant to try and clean. There was a broken bottle on the floor, and the staff was continuing like its normal.
Went around all the tables trying to get a clean table without any luck. There were  cats running on the tables and nobody cared.
The service in the restaurant is very bad and the food is overly expensive.
The place has potential and the could do better in maintaining it. 

SPACIOUS ROOMS 

If you appreciate a beautiful lake view, traditional cottages with cold water half-functioning shower, a quiet rest without internet, no need for an operational gym, no problems with walking in the dark to your cottage over slippery stones at steep pathways, this resort is exactly what you need.

Beautiful view without service

No! Not at all. No one was there to ask what we were looking for at least first day on our arrival.  The food is pretty terrible. The resort provide you with no reasonable choices though it is a buffet . Similarly, the food served at  lunch and dinner; twice at tea break were the same (no preference, no change) . in the room  Wi-Fi is not working, and almost no light. Moreover , the toilets is not working.

Do they know  what customer service is ?

I would say the view, the architecture and the provided amenities are good but it is way TOO overbooked, even to the point of having two weddings on a side-by -side alter on the garden 😒.  The weddings, atleast the one we were in, lacked major hospitality from the waiters and in some case even there was a shortage of drinking glasses 🙄
The ONE thing I would recommend, for those who have little kids, is the play area.

Overbooked with poor hospitality 

The resort was literally empty on Wednesday and the management did even try to give us a discount rate instead we paid a full price with no value for the money.i wouldn't go there again with family or alone bathroom is almost none functional and poor service. Needs to train staff to standard.
