Good, clean, safe place to stay.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were pretty clean and well air-conditioned.
The prices were fair and the breakfast was good.

Would definitely recommend it.

Make sure you get a card from them with their address on it so that when you are coming back to the hotel your taxi can find the place.


Good place to stay in Manta, Ecuador

Friendly staff check, clean and comfortable room check, pool check, free wifi check, trasty breakfast check. The owner, a nice lady helped us out and was extremely helpful. Had a garage for our car with night guard.Its located in a nice quiet part of town but close enough to several restaurants. Will come back and recommend our friends for sure!

Very nice quiet hostel with a pool.

We had three visiting teams come to serve in June and July in Manta after the April 16 earthquake. All 3 groups stayed at Marina Real. They were able to rest well in comfortable beds. They enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast was good, and easily adapted to their needs. There is 24 hour security, and the hostal did not suffer structural damage from the earthquake. This is the 5th year that we have relied on Marina Real for a safe, quiet, resting spot for small groups of visitors from the USA and other cities in Ecuador.

Great hosts for our visiting teams

This is such a great little hotel to stay at when exploring Manta area! The room were very spacious which I thought was a bonus as we had just come other accommodations which were limited for space! They keep the rooms very clean and well maintained! We loved the location as it was close to a lot of restaurants, the main beach, shopping etc. the staff is excellent and always helpful if you needed anything! The breakfast served in the morning was so good.......and plentiful! We loved the pool area and used it to relax and refresh! Again staff was just lovely and attended to any requests we had! The owner Chilly is super nice and always had a smile! This is a place I highly recommend when in Manta!

Perfect Spot

I have stayed twice now. Once for 4 weeks, another time a week. 
It's a nice central location and walkable to the supermarket and the beach. 
Quiet family place with a nice pool, good security and very friendly staff.
It's not high end, but comfortable and well priced.
Owner is nice and friendly and also a good healthy breakfast with coffee, warm bread and jam, eggs, fruit bowl and fruit juice. 
There is very secure parking in their garage for two cars.
Internet was ok, but slow if you are needing to work a lot online.
Good hot water too.
